I was involved in a situation like this years ago. I was going to let her stay in my rental out of the kindness of my heart, but she was with a bum of a boyfriend. Her brother told me everything about their situation, and it wasn't good. He was a gang member, liked to steal, and had been in and out of jail. Also, they, or I believe it was only him, destroyed their last rental and sold the owner's appliances. I didn't live in the city but have rentals in that state. After hearing that, I changed my mind. So, if possible...always reach out and ask someone what's really going on with that person!

Yea...no matter how much I believe that Marcus has a good heart and means well most of the time, its always sus and makes me cringe the way he fishes for sexual related trauma within these FEMALE'S lives and if they say yes, he becomes oddly overly interested and deeply focused on the smallest details and will NOT move on until the entire story has been rehashed and all of his inquiries has been made. if they say no, he will continue to fish making sure he doesn't miss any sexual related details. At this point he doesn't care how it makes ( re-traumatizes) the interviewee or if it bothers the viewers that he consistently does this. He says its beneficial for others who may be going through the same issues. Really Marcus?? I personally cannot see how some poorly unfortunate female living on the streets being re-traumatized on camera from a stranger she ran into on the streets who makes money off of recording an already victimized, sexually traumatized female's story when and the victim/ interviewee, thanks to being on Atlanta Street Interviews was paid $10.00 to NOW have thousands of strangers, friends, family, neighbors, co-worker's etc. Be privy to such personal information about themselves, which has now been recorded and forever lives on the internet. Other than your RU-vid monetization, Where is the benefit in that Marcus?? Please help me understanding your logic! Ive watched you for over two years now and still I failed to see, hear or understand how, When, or Where does the interviewee or anyone else benefit from your eerie need to pry open the details of an unfortunate interviewee's sexual assault history. It bothers me to think there is a disgusting self- serving benefit of yours at play, so I pray that one day a light bulb will come on and you'd check yourself about what you've been doing and the potentially dangerous outcome you may have caused. Are we at fault as well? We can't wait to hear the next interviewee's story. Most of us feel only compassion for them though. But are we feeding off of listening to their desperate lifestyles? If we can't help them why are we tuned into this channel faithfully making Marcus popular and at the same time always criticizing him?

Marcus you are not a trained professional. You need to stop the intrusive questioning, especially in regards to s.a. You are not only triggering your interviewees, but your audience as well.
My take on this. She is either a little slow, even though she got good grades. She might possibly be on drugs. Her boyfriend gives me ‘ controlling’ vibes. If the light is behind the person being interviewed it messes up the camera quality. Also if she was bothered by it she’s a grown woman that can move out of the sun 😒

I've had too many family members and friends that are addicted to this particular type of drug. So yes it looks like The Tell-Tale signs of opit your use but it may not be.
