Some people think Han's betrayal came out of nowhere but I think it's obvious the part where he's told if Anna died he'd be all Arendelle has left, that was when we went into "Evil Hans" mode.

i think that faster part of this score is when Hans informs the others that Anna was killed.

At first, Hans tells the others that Anna died, later is when Elsa escape from prison and last when Kristoff decides to return to Arendelle :)

this sounds gothic like it came out of a Batman: Arkham game... awesome.

If you listen closely, this track is a darker version of the same melody that played on the piano during Hans and Anna's first meeting.

I can almost picture the scene as I hear this music. Hans is such a cold, conniving, lying creep who will do anything to get what he wants...even kill! 😠😡

I know not a lot of people will agree with me and I may be the only one to think this, but I don’t think Hans’s betrayal entirely came out of nowhere. True, it was a villain plot twist they came up with at the last minute since they rewrote Elsa as a protagonist and the script was rushed. And yes, I have seen better-written villains. But if you look back from the moment he met Anna, he was manipulating her from the start. She wanted to find romance and coincidentally her “charming prince” arrives that same day, “happens” to have much in common as her and then suddenly asks her to marry him? Sorry but that was suspicious to me and I personally never bought it so I wasn’t that surprised when he betrayed Anna. I mean, I was shocked he’d go dirty like that, but I sorta saw it coming. And y’all found his reveal upsetting but... isn’t that the point of a plot twist villain reveal?! Plus, he had to change his plan every time, which makes him a more complex Disney villain than the previous. And there’s also that one theory in which Hans was bullied and abused by his twelve older brothers and father and that he wanted to take over the kingdom to get the respect he never received and is desperate to (although they could’ve at least give more clues). I personally think that the twist teaches a valuable lesson to children: to always know better the person you think you’re in love with and not rush everything like Anna. Then again, no movie is really perfect. All of them have tiny little flaws. The important is whether or not the flaws are overshadowed by the positive stuff, and in this case, it definitely is. I nevertheless still love this movie. There, I said it! I’ve made my point.

The only reason he did that was to enhance the video even the look was misgiving. Elsa was based on the evil ice queen but because it would not fit the songs they clearly rushed the script. Still like the songs and animation.
