Week 28 of my first pregnancy is in the books. What an emotional week it has been. We had our baby shower! Bought the most perfect baby shower dress, and were spoiled by our families and friends. We also had a really wild vaginal bleed scare this week and set things off in a real way. SO much to talk about this week. Sorry, it's so long.

I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant and I’m also super emotional. I have experienced bleeding like you have also with pretty much no answers as to why. They say my baby boy is healthy and I just need to rest so that’s what I’m doing. Good luck with your pregnancy! I watch your updates every week we are so close!

I'm glad you and baby are ok. My scare recently was when my little guy was moving less. I called and went in. Turns out he had moved behind the placenta, which I find not even think about as a possibility. So I told him, no more of that trick, thank you! I've been loving a tomato or cucumber sandwich in the morning! Our baby shower is this weekend and my husband will be there. It's just do fun to celebrate together😊 Look forward to your shower gift video. Take care🌸

Aw man I am crying. So glad everything was okay. I am 28 weeks today and every time I think of the baby and the fact that its a real little baby that is soon going to be in my arms I am just in bits! Must have been so stressful but sure its a long distant memory now your beautiful wee boy is with you! x

I always announce when I'm about to cry too haha. I'm like "I'm going to cry" and my husband ALWAYS knows when I'm about to, too. And everything makes me cry to. My niece painted us a picture with our babes name on it and I sobbed ridiculously. First thing we got with her name on it and it was so sweet.

Thanks for this. I had a bleeding 🩸 scare 2 nights ago at 24 weeks and 3 days. A whole gush of blood 🩸 just came out. Fortunately, when I got to the birth center, I was told that the baby was fine and that my placenta wasn’t compromised either nor was my cervix opened. I was simply advised to get some rest and minimize activity.

I’m 27 weeks and 3 days and I’m expecting a boy! I’m so emotional as well . My baby shower was just this past Sunday . I cried as well because it’s crazy from it being an empty room , to being half decorated , to you putting all the things he got in there and realizing it’s almost time to meet him . I know exactly how you feel . 💙

It was CRAZY ! That moment when you finally sit down and process everything from such a busy day. The emotions are crazy, the other day I Cried because my husband and I went to bonefish for "brunch" and I was really craving their "Creme Brulee french toast". I didn't see it on the menu they handed me so I walked up to the hostess and asked what time they served brunch until and she told me it was only on the weekends! As I was walking back to the table I was sobbing! HAHAHA Thank god my hubby just laughed at me, hugged me and said "Its okay, We can go some where else!!"

I am so surprised that your dress is not maternity but I absolutely love it and you looked beautiful for your shower! I scoured Amazon, bought 4 dresses (all maternity) and kept 2 of them - one is my baby shower dress!

I know! Its crazy... as long as the dress is stretchy I feel like it works still, also this dress had some ruching on the side. I'm glad you found a dress, it can be very stressful finding clothing let along a dress when your body is constantly changing!

I'm 26 weeks with twins and I had some bright red bleeding at 13 weeks and they found placenta previa. I also had a subchorionic hematoma at 12 weeks.

Ahhh when you started crying, i started crying!! Pregnancy hormones! 😥😂 lol also, same thing happened when me and my hubby had intercourse one night. Ended up looking down there with a flashlight and seen there was a couple little cuts on the inside of my lip/wall.. I was just amazed tho how much blood came out of those cuts! Im so glad everything was okay with you and baby ❤💕

I am also freaking out because my wife and I are having our first baby and she had spotting. No sex but I suppose it is to do with her work pressure. Told her straight away to quit her job on the 7th month. 😓

Yes actually... (I am a bit behind in posting my videos) but at our follow up the midwife decided she wanted to investigate further. So she did a cervical swab and noticed a very slight discoloration in the discharge and decide to treat me with an oral antibiotic for 7days. There were no signs of infection (No odor or change in discharge that I could notice) But after finishing the antibiotic and resuming normal "married activities" I did notice that the abnormal sensitivity that I felt before was gone!

They say sex is safe, but I think that is more a generality. I gave birth early at 33 weeks, and I think it was partially due to having sex. I definitely think you have to listen to your body. If you, and your doctor feel safe follow that, my mucous plug started to come out a couple days after intercourse. I had also been on my feet a lot outside in the hot summer sun so it was not just intercourse but a mixture of things. I am now pregnant with my second and will avoid penetration in my 3rd trimester just to be safe.
