(The fluid medium I used is Elmer’s Glue-All.)

This technique is deceptively simple. On the surface it looks like you just put dots of blue and color on a canvas. I imagine the chain pulling requires a fair amount of skill. It needs to be pulled at just the right speed in a certain direction to keep the colors from blending too much. I am sure my first attempt at this wouldn't result in me saying, "Yep, nailed it!". Great work on this and it is an interesting idea.

I've got two things to say about this. 1. A master makes hard things look easy. A champion boxer may defeat best of fighters easily within 'seconds', but it takes 'years' of perseverance to forge such a champion. 2. Often it's not easy to come up with a new technique which is fast and easy to use (even though to use the new technique itself may be easy and less time consuming).

Maybe she received a thumbs down because the painting she does in the video is not the same painting she shows as the final result. The final result painting has been touched up or a completely different painting. I am sure that she painted both but the final painting has different colors of paint on the body of the insect. She has gone back and highlighted the different colors on each wing. The final result shows more vivid and brighter colors than the example shown in the video. It is her painting and she can do what she wants with it, just don't be too discouraged if your painting does not look as good as hers.

I just found you and you are so talented. Now I want to paint 🤣! Everytime I come across a video I start a new hobby. Started off buying a cricut to do shirts, then came across keychains and started doing them, then cardmaking, then quilling, then earrings, then bows, then resin, then tumblers, then paper crafting and vinyl on canvas, now I guess it will be paint 🤷! Although mine will never turn out like this, it's worth a shot trying a new hobby!
