Hi Ari, there are so many great RC channels out there, but IMO you always find the right mixture between building, running, tips and just having fun with RC's. Many greetings to you and your crew ✌️😃
Thank you. That’s a really nice compliment. I appreciate it. I really try hard to keep my videos quick and to the point and to do a little bit of everything. Or to switch it up week to week. FYI, your little Icon of Orco… awesome! Lol.
Hi. Awesome Mercedes body 👌 (was driven by no less than Michael Schumacher in 1991 DTM season). And thanks for the without / with upgrades comparison 👍
Great video 👍nice to see some upgrades for the tt01. Unfortunately it's not easy to show how big difference it is between friction shocks and oil dampers. It's really night and day.
Damn Tamiya ESC's ... crap lol I got that LAMBO shell gifted to me from a friend. Glad I was able to use it on something. It was just sitting there in my work area of almost a year.
The real and essential upgrades are high torque seevo saver , ABSOLUTELY adjustable turnbuckle and alu steering linkage, alu propeller, oil shocks , adjustable rear and front upper arms and ball bearing. Every single of these upgrades improve the performance.
I put in tamiya adjustable upper control arms and rear 3 degree toe in uprights. Which helps keeping me straight under acceleration and camber helps with he turning. I also put in adjustable turn arms so I could run a little toe out up front too. hope that helps.
Great car and very useful upgrades. These shocks are awesome with so many possibilities. I use these, too. You should test some more and step into the Poor Boys RC speedchallenge😉
I've seen the video's for that. Thats a really cool thing he is doing to bring the RC community together. I thought I was a lil late to that party... hasn't that been going on for a while?
Great video(newsubscriber),i was debating on weather to get the green and gold merc, after watching this im definitely going to buy it. Tamico do a cool light kit as well.
So we use the lap transponders from lapmonitor.com/store/en/ with their app. When we do the large scale races we use those transponders with liveRC.com. However, for next spring I believe we are upgrading to a way more expensive system. The name escapes me at the moment. One of the guys "Tom" is in charge of that department... I just go with the flow with whatever we all agree upon to use.
To be honest the TT01E is a better chassis than the TT02, seems more sturdy. I used to run one with the Buggyra Fat Fox truck bodyshell and it was so much fun to race, I did upgrade it with bearings, CVA dampers and a few other bits. Great video!!
I don't like the steering on the TT02. Even with the upgraded aluminum steering and aluminum steering bridge there is a lot of slop. I added shims which improved it but overall I just like the feel of my TT01 more. Thats just me though...
For that radiolink I can only have 10 cars on there. My new remote has memory settings for up to 100 cars? Maybe one of the other radiolinks? Also I was having glitching issues with the radiolink. When racing my car would veer off or speed up without my pulling the trigger. It also felt loose out there with the steering. I originally went from a flysky to a radiolink which I thought was just an ok upgrade.. but going to this spektrum was a game changer....
