The right expression that fits to your French Dragoons would be fantastic. Excellent work and result!! I wish you all the best for your health, Justin. Greetings, Joachim
Nice work on these guys, Justin. I’m having some trouble loading the video though. After you say ‘dead guys’ it keeps freezing out...I like the 3 a base. I might have to do try that when I do some cavalry next.
Not Bad Bud pps the Stars on the Spell Casters Robe are definitely Stencils. I have been looking at Airbrush stencils on Kogan. So dont beat yourself up about "freehand sketching" because not all is what it seems! Youre doing Great work; although its good to reverse engineer, its fine to copy another Artist. But my point is: sometimes just sometimes Artists have a helping hand that we dont know about Unless youre Leon T: that Man is frighteningly Good at straight lines and his use of Color. Im sure if anyone could free hand sketch Stars? its Leon! If someone put a gun to my head and said paint Tartan, and freehand sketch Stars. I would prob say just fking shoot me lol
Really great work on these, my brother! I'm glad you put the spotlight on for a moment. I really enjoyed seeing the lovely greens in the jacket. Well done! ~ Wolfbrother Methos
@@basicminiaturepainting the horses look especially good. I've just been doing mine in contrast, will be taking your advice and trying that thin basecoat first though to make them look a wee bit better :)
The dragoons are looking really nice. If I remember Northumbrian Tin Soldier do some Holy Grail and Time Bandits figures. By the the drums in your intro made me think of Time Team lol.
@@basicminiaturepainting though I think they're called something else to avoid lawsuits. Lol. We were at Cooked Dice once who do similar and my mate said "its stargate". The stall holder very sternly "no...its not"
Beautiful painted guys, i would love to see more close ups. I like how you did the horses, the white spots on the legs gives a lot of character, i like the dry grass, yelowish of the bases, like in the russian stepes. Get well soon sir, your normans archers awaits. 😁 Cheers.
