Since that Day i was a LFC Fan from Germany because me and my Friend sits near by the away Kop and they made the whole Game so much noise and thats really impressed me. So i starts to follow the Games at the BFBS Sportsshow on the Radio and buy some brit Newspapers at the central Railway Station down there in Bochum. But a few english Friends recorded big Games on Video Tapes for me and i send them music tapes from Live Concerts in Germany. Wild Times 😎 Since the WWW is established is much more easyier to watch every Game of the LFC 😁👍🏻YNWA .

The late Hennes Weisweiler, proved himself a brilliant manager by leading Borussia to maturity without ever buying a star player. Using his coaching skills on the training pitch to bring on and improve players, he produced a side that provided key figures to the West German national side of the 1970s; Vogts, Wimmer, Netzer, Bonhof and Heynckes, to name but a few. He stamped his belief in good football based on skill, intelligence, collective play and bursts of individual brilliance on his players. The result was real old-fashioned football played at the modern pace against the more physical opponents. The ball was played into feet which demands a great deal of individual skill in screening the ball; accuracy of passing; judging when and where to lay a pass so that it would not be intercepted and so that it could be easily received by a colleague. On top of that because opponents naturally tried to stop them ‘playing,’ there were times when a player received a ball and was immediately put in trouble by quick tackling opponents, but like all the truly great football sides when that happened, Borussia always had men in support in space, available to receive easy balls laid off early. These are the hallmarks of good football, and through a lot of hard work with the ball in training, Borussia not only produced top drawer football but made it pay.
Borrusia would've served themselves better by playing this match at the Bokelberg rather than in Dusseldorf, smaller capacity yes, but a far more intimidating place to go.
@@erniescullion8452 Not saying LFC wouldn't have won anyway, my comment was Borrusia would've had a better chance at their home ground, they'd beaten us there in a UEFA cup final second leg remember.

Was für ein Pfund: "and clemens turns away in anger", sonst hätte ihm Rainer Bonhof vielleicht auch den Kopf angeschossen. War live dabei im Rheinstadion Block 32.
yep ,I remember with harry carpenter 😊 ,the other side with elton welsby ,wasnt the midweek match on radio city as well with that little slogan ,all our yesterdays ,good times YNWA 👍
@Antonio Sapienza yes just one final. For a small town surrounded by giants. Not bad. Plus 4 UEFA cup finals winning 2. With only home grown players who also played for Deutschland. Vogts, Netzer, Wimmer, Effenberg, Matthäus and Bonhoff.
Every dog has his day man, what are you trying to say really?B Mönchengladbach was every season a contenter in european cups in the 70s and a wonderfull team to watch, who the fuck knows crocodile dundee united!
Se mai fosse stato da inventare il termine "Bestia nera", lo era il Liverpool dell B Moenchengladbach. Finale coppa uefa 1972-73, Liverpool-Borussia 3-0-0-2 Finale Coppa campioni 1976-77 Liverpool - Borussia 3-1. Semifinale Coppa campioni 1977-78 Liverpool - Borussia 1-2-3-0
Mundo 2024 ..... is that so..... 14 seasons, 17 gold medals including 3 Champions Cup victory’s with LFC and he is not “that good”..... do you ever watch football?
@@SheptonDaviesI think it was 16 ,12 away and only 4 ,they played 42 games as well ,just imagine ,when I stood on the kop that season little did i know the away teams would only score 4 goals in 21 games against us ,unheard of these days ,very underated football team ever 👍
