Dude im so happy i met you last year after toa released, i found you at jad with the shadow like day 1 after toa release lol. I attempted my 500 toa for a few weeks and i only got as close as 3% hp on final phas wardens and i didnt get it because my son was born and i had to quit for a few months, and i hope i can get it soon. I also remember helping you out with your audio issue :)
I remember that was so long ago. My videos had all of those echo sounds too i thought it was my pc making that noise lol. Have you gotten kit yet? we could probably do a run or two and get kit

Nice! Hoping for a sub 30 with these invos and rings soon. So far I've got a 31:29 with some noodles on specs and a couple big mistakes, but this setup is really fun to run!
I was thinking the same thing. Even with staff and virtus my dps is suffering so much at P4. Only thing in my way of fang kit. I can’t last line walk too well
Apparently baba only attacks you early on boulders if you melee him. If you swap to mage or range you can get a bunch of free hits on him while he still does boulders.
I use it for the extra 1 prayer point per dose. In these 500s with 7 prayer potions I could probably use restores. In my 400s though with 4 pray pots I’d probably use sanfews. I’ve gotten used to using sanfews for pray restore so usually use them
What’s your opinion on the new rings in toa and secondarily cox & tob? I’m strongly considering it for my first 500 fang kit run compared to lb. I have max and bis nearly everywhere, but I’d have to sell my harm for ultor + magus. Also could pick up bellator if I did that to farm duke. Ultor for vard:)
The new rings are really good in toa I would suggest only using the ultor in raids with overly draining. in 400s i'd still use zcb/voidwaker/lightbearer since the specs increase dps a lot more. I'd also use the magus in akkha/zebak/wardens in any raid. ultor is really good in 500s because it gets about a .5 dps increase compared to the lightbearer and specs usually aren't used. For ToB i'd use the scythe and bellator ring with scythe/slash since it is about a .8 dps increase. With ultor it's only about a .5 dps increase. the dps increase to scythe is for maiden/sotetseg/verzik/bloat/xarpus also. Shadow with magus is bis on p2 verzik though it's only on that phase of raid with a dps of 9.16 compared to scythe at 7.93. The dps increase for slash weapons also works on duke/vardorvis using the bellator. bellator gets a .8 dps increase while ultor only gets .5 on both of those bosses. I think for cox lightbearer would be more dps than ultor. I have seen people use shadow/magus on olm but would think lightbearer for specs like dwh would be more dps increase than ultor. It's kinda similar to bringing ultor for 500s where overly draining is on but cox is more similar to lower invocations where specs are used for more dps and overly draining is off

I’m actually going to try referencing your videos to do my first 500 tonight! After fang kit, I’ve decided I’m going to go for blood torva in this order: whisperer > duke > vard > leviathan to work my way up to the hardest. I assume based on what you’ve said bellator would be my best bet on duke and vard with fang. Would there be any situation where I’d want to run scythe in awakened? Also for someone with minimal experience on leviathan, would you recommend LB over venator ring? I plan to do the barrage spam method too and just camp tbow with bp and ww for enrage. I’m not sure what setup I’ll be using for vard, duke, and whisperer but as someone that really wants to learn tob yet struggles to find teams due to 1kc I hope blood torva/infernal/fang would help me find teams.
scythe is about .7 more dps than fang for awakened duke ibb.co/D8jKp55 scythe is 5.81 dps while fang is 5.15. You don't really need scythe for this boss most of my time was spend resetting the enrage phase for the boss so i don't think dps matters as much as strategy. as long as you can acid walk the last phase/and dodge bombs without getting 2 to land on front row you get kc pretty quickly. I used red eye jedi's video for duke ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h-Pqf0Y0td4.html&ab_channel=redeyejedi I reset duke around 20-30 times but after watching the video i got kc in about 5 attempts for leviathan ventor ring is only about .2 dps more dps than lightbearer and .02 dps than archer ring ibb.co/5BkpCxF Tbow with ventor is 6.67 dps while light bearer is 6.53 dps. The ring doesn't really matter with leviathan i used a zcb/lightbearer so i could get to enrage quicker. You could even spec at beginning of boss without lightbearer and have 100% spec for webweaver at end of boss kill. It also doesn't matter too much since the ring switch wont really effect amount of hits on boss during enrage. If it takes 20 bp shots to kill boss with ventor it will probably take 20 also with lightbearer. The hardest part of leviathan is mostly just enrage resets. I was able to do boulders/lightning pretty easy on mobile without any tile markers and just resets.(before kc on pc) I also had trouble switching from webweaver to tbow during enrage so just camped tbow instead while focusing on pray flicking. Also yea bellator would be most dps on duke/vard. Fang on duke/vard and voidwaker so enrage goes quicker are what i used on those bosses. Not getting hit by whisperer/puzzles and pray flicks on enrage leviathan are the hard part. Also if you want some help with fang kit i'm going to be doing some toa runs for a 1-3 hours. we could probably get it pretty easy in a attempt or two
It probably is since it's guarenteed hit I probably could've saved a minute with bone dagger on baba/kephri since both of my bgs specs missed. I'll probably start bringing both into raids and just use bgs for core. I think with ultor ring/rapier could just not bring bgs into raid and still 3 down core but not sure.
@@momoflipMwvids if you're bringing bgs for core whack only you could consider something with a higher max hit like elder maul. i don't think it would make a difference in the amount of down, but just to think about. think i've seen noobtype running bone dagger + elder maul for super high invo/scaled raids etc.
That’s a good idea I think bringing just 1 of the weapons like bgs/bone dagger is a good idea though since it saves some inventory space for pray pots. I did some testing yesterday and was able to get up to 540 invo 3 down rapier only. With bgs/Eldermaul added I think you could even get 560+ invo without any specs from weapons. This is pretty big increase since I used to do 3 down 500s and couldn’t get it unless I bgs specced core once.

I would suggest pathfinder for first 500s. Double trouble was probably the hardest akkha invo for me to learn I really think it took 100+ runs to get down for me lol. You might be able to get down quicker but I think it’s easier to just make rooms a little longer from lvl 2 path instead. imgur.io/a/3ukr6VV Zebak/kephri/akkha/ba-ba order for rooms makes this invo really nice and I usually run these for fang kit duos

Would you recommend solo better, or get an alt for extra supplies is worth the +1 for the fang kit? also was wondering is it worth taking less switched for extra supplies? like taking just bp, masori top, bottom and and assembler as a switch? considering i don't need a t bow, i could dump the rest bring a lot more restores for keris
My biggest struggle is taking a hit at akka and then swapping styles w keep back, praying meele/ranged the chip dmg is huge and im not good enough to step back
You can get good enough try practicing akkha with hardcore off and reset keep back a few times. It probably took me 100+ runs to get keep back down (i got timing down after a while practicing double trouble) Once you get the mechanic down the room becomes really nice and its not much different from learning butterfly/redx
getting blood torva was probably the least fun and most stressful thing i've done in game. It kinda ruined the dt2 release for me using 200+ orbs didn't enjoy it at all lol
