29th étape of the Camino Francés from Sarria to Portomarín.
All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping and exploring during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the Camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the Camino as in summer of 2020.

Thank you very much, Marc for your important work, something new and so useful. In a few days we'll reach Santiago. I'm asking myself if you have video until Finisterre that would be wonderful. Furio

Hi Furio, thank you again for watching! Sorry the videos don`t come regularly these days, many things to finish before I go to the Camino next week (but I`ll try hard to upload the last few videos to Santiago before I leave). Yes, I filmed the Camino to Finisterre in 2019 and 2022, will start to upload the episodes after I get back in August. Maybe I`ll start to upload the Caminho Português first and then Finisterre (because the Camino Finisterre was filmed right after the Português 2022). Hopefully I have time to make a small trailer on the coming weekend😄

Choosing the music is what seems to take the most time, even if sometimes I`m not happy with my decisions😅 But in this video I like it too. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much again! I know, I still can`t believe how few people there were in 2020. Very curious how many pilgrims there will be on the Camino Norte next week😄

It`s so different like that. Maybe I`ll make a video in the future comparing some parts of the camino when more crowded in 2019 and almost empty in 2020, it makes such a big difference for the experience. Thank you so much for watching!
