Here is a theory about why Gus might have been crying: We know that he is way younger than everyone else and since willow and luz are about 14 I would guess he would be about 12 or 13 so he could just be scared because he is the youngest there and has to deal with all the trauma that has happened and in that moment where the portal doesn't open back up he realizes his situation and starts freaking out.

In a different episode when Eda says “how about a beach day” Luz says “maybe we could have one if we had 20 more adventures” clearly referring the unexpected limited time the show got to finish its story

For his many faults, I have to commend Philip for offering Luz the portal home. It's one of the few moments where he shows he still can be emphatic.

Going back to Gus seeing Belos/Phillip’s memories, could it also be likely that he saw what happened in Hollow Mind, seeing that would’ve been one of the worst memories Belos/Philip next to killing Caleb and everything else involving him? And speaking of Caleb, I noticed that the portraits of him in Hollow Mind were scratched out, but they weren’t when we saw them in King’s Tide. I know some people probably noticed it too, but that’s something I found interesting.

I'm thinking that tower from Echoes of the Past is where, the CATTS, Eda, Lilith, and the Hexside students will take refuge since The Collector can't see it.

5:20 Another theory to how Eda found the island could also be due to her curse. In Knock, Knock, Knockin’ on Hooty’s Door, we get a flashback memory of the collector trying to capture the owl beast. This could possibly insinuate that they may be apart of the family tree of Titans (since the collector is so keen on killing/“playing” with them)

On the amphibia Easter eggs in Owl House, Eda also had the Calamity Box in her basement, which is clearly just an Easter egg because it’d make no sense otherwise

The healing coven leader's weapon does make sense, because a scalpel is usually used in surgery so it makes sense that this world's equivalent of a doctor would have one

During detail 11, when Belos says, “I can hear you..” there are a set of number in the corner, where the title of the detail typically is, the numbers/ letters are: “65, 76, 65, 72, 79, 20, 6F, 74, 68, 65, 72, 20, 74, 69, 74, 6C and 65” they translate to (according to hexadecimal): “Every other title”

5:51 I noticed a detail here. The remains of Phillip only drip here in front of Hunter, yet don't drip for any other character that passes over them. This leads me to believe that Phillip was still alive as that goo on the ceiling and actively dripped to try to attach himself to hunter, possibly to get to the human realm or for some other reason

About number 22: I think the codes (season 2) are talking about King because it says "he no longer dreams of kings" and "as below his father lies" the first one could be referring to the fact that when Lilith praised him like a king he didn't like it even after his entire life wanting to be treated like a king and the other could mean that his father is the titan of the boiling isles and that would explain why in episode 19 in Luz's flashbacks she calls him "the son of the boiling isles"

I always try to view easter eggs as though its a lense the creators put over the world for audience enjoyment, like an after effect on a movie or something, and if you were to travel into the show or something you wouldnt be able to see those easter eggs and they would look different or not be there at all. not that I wouldnt be totally on board for a crossover between these two.

Also, for some reason if you search up the number, it shows up everywhere, I saw like 2 Twitter posts and 1 facebook one of people just posting this numbers. I saw somewhere that is was a hacker number or something like that and others say it's like an error code however I'm not sure if any of that is true

I have a potential theory for "The Owl House," could Luz (and humans in general) possibly be something of an amplifier for magic cast by witches? The reason I bring this up is because some of the most impressive feats (outside of Eda's) were performed with Luz either being directly involved or in close proximity to the spell being cast. Do you find this theory plausible or am I just finding something where there is nothing?

Theory for this ARG So every time so far this video has glitched it has had something to do with the collector (with their laugh and the emphasis on it being in King’s head) and Belos both other times after that when Kasrium calls Philip Belos. Then after that when mentions Caleb (with still distant laughter from the collector) so what I’m thinking is that this is an in universe arg or like one of those “trapped in a cursed video” arg or something, or it could go even deeper where Kasrium has a similar connection to the collector and Belos as King And adding onto the collector, they could very well be the one allowing us to see these messages, like the ultimate “game” a game across multiple realities, but that’s just a theory….A FILM-

Last theory clarification: 9:26 when the goo appears on the door, there’s a blink and you’ll miss it few drops of goo from the ceiling, meaning that the goo was probably exes bellos goo exiting through the portal and not Belos coming in himself. This does leave room for speculation on weather or not the portal really broke from Kings roar or not. 🙂

For the part of Dana saying that any connections to other show are just easter eggs, that's probably just her trying to make less people believe the theory that the owl house, anphibia and gravity falls are all in the same universe. There is actaully a video on this theory, its called something like "Its ALL connected(owl house, amphibia, gravity falls theory) and when you look at all the points, yeah no, its no coincidence or easter egg, its intentional

The episode reminded me so much of Gravity Falls when Stan's brother was coming through the portal. Especially the part with Luz trying to keep the portal open. Anyone else?
