Hey there, SHELTECH! Thanks for the awesome review of the LG 29WN600-W UltraWide monitor. Your unboxing and setup instructions were super helpful. I agree that having the ability to customize the workspace with this monitor is a game-changer for productivity. The lack of some features like an adjustable base and USB hub is a bit disappointing, but for the price, it seems like a great budget-friendly option. And I totally agree about separate speakers being the way to go. Overall, your video gave me a clear picture of what to expect from this monitor, and I appreciate the detailed walkthrough. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thank you for the review! I currently use a 3440 x 1440 34" LG ultrawide for my home office/gaming setup. I was looking at these 29" 1080 models for my office at the clinic I work at. I like the screen real estate of my 34" but that will be overwhelmingly large, with the curve not helping, on my narrow desk at work. Seeing the monitor in use, it looks like it will be able to have three windows open with enough space to see everything. I have a dual monitor set-up at work with a 24" and a 22" side by side, but it is very annoying to deal with two monitors when I am used to using an ultrawide at home.
if you are using this screen I will recommend you switch to windows 11. it's much easier to split the screen than the LG program. and also LG program drains the battery on my laptop. and by the way, I am using that screen and I think it is great but I hate its stand, it takes a lot of space from the table.
damm your videos are good as compared to other big youtubers the youtube algorithm had you bad as you are getting less views despite having such great videos about reviewing stuff
As LG claims with new software, we can achieve PBP (Picture By Picture) feature with this monitor. Have you tried? I am willing to buy this monitor but first want to confirm about PBP feature. Thank you so much btw for informative video.
This monitor does not have a KVM built into it like their higher end monitors. Also, the KVM in the monitors are a hardware feature not a software feature. There are some software KVMs out there, but I haven't used any myself.
It also depends of the resolution, a 1080p 34 inches ultrawide does not improve at all your workspace to a 29 inches. It is better to have a 1440p for bigger displays. You can use a colculator to find the ideal size and resolution
@@cathleenharmony9568 I think it depends on your eyesight. But it is great on a monitor arm and turned vertical. that may be better for coding but I am not a coder🤔
Hi, I was just wondering if it was compatible with a Mac mini 2018 (I specifically have a Mac Mini 2018 - 3.0GHz 6-core Intel Core i5 Processor, 256GB)?
How did you get your laptop to display full screen on the monitor? It’s pretty much widescreen for me and I can’t stand that it’s not in the full screen
Hi , Planning to buy the same monitor... But my laptop has integrated graphics card ... Which supports max of 1920x1080 (hp 14-dh1178tu pavilion x360 laptop). So would it be possible to extend my laptops screen to 29 inch monitor?( i. e with full resolution).
Dont buy this monitor. Height is less than even 21 one inch monitor..I owned this monitor..Go for 34 inch or normal 27 inch monitor..I am here to avoid your waste of money..i regret after buying this size monitor..
No way it’s smaller than a 21. You might have bought a 26 ultra instead. These ones have indeed a smaller height. The 29 ultras are almost as tall as regular 24
