A quick question please, how do we convince some people we know who are very stubborn and unacceptable of the Shia sect and enable them to start listening to the reasons behind our beliefs? I am a Shia Revert and I try to explain this is why I find Shia Islam as most authentic and reliable because Sunni practices are not even unified in there teachings of our 5 daily prayers no disrespect to Sunnis because I know we are all Muslims. But if they can’t agree on basics of prayer I can’t imagine how they stay consistent and unified in all major teachings as well

The Muslims in yesteryears had 3 groups Sunnis who accept the 4 Rashidun Sahabi Khalifas, the Kharijis who accepted only the first 2 Rashiduns (Abu Bakr and Omar) and the Shias who accept only on one as Rashid calling him Imam (Ali). Interestingly Imam Malik used to pray his Fardh/Wajib prayers using SADL (hands by side) in Madinah. Shias pray using Sadl. And, most Interesting is the Kharijis who believe that Othman and Ali AS erred (now only one prominent group called Abadis of Oman) pray using Sadl. Qabd near sadr (heart) is done by jews whereas the Xoroastrians and the early Byzantines prayed to their Kings and Gods with hands below their navel. My opinion is that this innovation of Qabd is a biddah. I was born into a Deobandi-Barelwi (the two sects of Subcontinental Hanafis, who call each other Kafir) family and I have spent a lot of my time with Khanqahis (Sufis), Barelwis, Deobandis (especially Tablighi Jamat), Jamaat-e-Islami of Maududi, Shabban-e-Ahle-Hadeeth (Najdi-Wahabis, the descendants of Maslama kidhdhab), Quranists. Now I call myself only muslim like Ibraheem AS, and believe Ali as Wali and Wasi because sunni books are full of ahadeeth regarding Ali of being Maula. But I don't belong to any sect of Shias/Sunnis/any other group. I think Shias (Athna-Asharis) are closer to the Qur’ān but the Shiism of Zakereens puts me off because of their Nusayri/Alawi beliefs. Since last 5 years I pray hands by my side and end my prayers with Allahu-Akbar and post that I say Assalamoalaikum, because I believe there is nothing wrong in giving blessings of peace to those praying to my left and right. Sahl ibn Sad was a prominent shia of Imam Ali. He must have said (the people were ordered by Omar) but like 10 and 6 from Hadrat Ayesha's age 10 was omitted, (by Omar) was also omitted by Muhaddetheen to make it ambiguous as if it was ordered by Prophet Muhammad SAW himself.

Well the introduction proves what I've said just about all along.... What do you call a person who follows five atheists his whole life.. he never does one halal Salat or one halal wudu?.. imagine they go their whole lives and never ever ever do one real wudu.... Mind-blowing

Each one of them claims to have seen our prophet Muhammad(saw) to have prayed in a certain way, I have also heard of a hadith, (if I'm not wrong) That when our prophet (saw) was praying, "when reciting a long Surah he will place his hands by his sides to rest his arms, regardless if you put your hands over your chest or buy your sides you are still standing in front of Allah and praying your Salah but I have never personally heard a Sunni call a Shia a kafir for that purpose, I personally put my hands on my chest, Not because I follow such and auch but this is what I've learnt in a book called Islamic studies plus this is comfortable for me to place my hands on my chest (Heart) 23:36 And if someone wants to call me a kafir for that purpose then that is your problem, personally I will never call anyone that says la ilaha illallah Muhammad rasulullah a kafir, anyone that calls another Muslim a kafir has committed kufur him self

Sayed can you please also address this question of many ? Why our prophet Mohammad had so many wives ? The historical and political reasons behind these marriages even though all wives were not as pious as should have been ?

سلام نمیدانم زبان من را متوجه خواهید شد یا نه ولی یک سوال دارم استاد قرآن من برای ما گفته بود نماز اول وقت به علاوه بهتر بودنش به این دلیل هم مهم است چون امام زمان علیه السلام هم و همه مؤمنین نماز اول وقت میخوانن و این خود نوعی جماعت غیبی میباشد حالا سوال من این است منم دوست دارم به همین دلیل نمازم را اول وفت بخوانم تا به امامت امام زمانم باشد اما ساعت هر کشور اسلامی فرق دارد مثلا من اهل افغانستان هستم عراق با ما یک ونیم ساعت فرق دارد پس این موضوع چگونه است واقعا؟

Praying with your hands on your side for Sunnis it’s not haram. The whole where to place your Arms in salah goes as far as Sunnah not further. You can’t takfir someone because of their hand/arm placement in salah (that’s what wahabis/salafis do Not Sunnis) and Sunnis don’t believe it’s wajib to wrap your arms in salah.

Can you please show me one single Sunni who has ever made takfir of a Shia ONLY because they have their arms by their side. Show me literally one single Sunni
