I live down here in the rio grande valley. The media is definitely overplaying the situation on both sides. Everyone has an agenda. Divide and conquer.

I remember Obama during one of his press briefings in 2013, and the status of the war in Afghanistan came up. Obama told the American public that there was no longer open conflict, no more combat actions being carried out. I had just been pinned with my Combat Action Badge two days before that, and a couple weeks before that, we were in a media blackout because a Stryker full of Cav Scouts had been hit by an IED, killing everyone in the vehicle on a major highway in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Where are the tactiflops? We need them for training. I also love all the podcasts cummimg out recently. Yes, that was on purpose.

You guys are right about both parties being terrible. I think Trumps biggest issue was hiring bad people and trusting the Rnc to recommend people for appointments. I think his ignorance as an outsider allowed people to sidestep his authority. It got to the point where the generals were outright lying to him about how many troops were where. If he does become president again, I hope he learns from his mistakes and does better.

To be fair, after i was shot with a .44 mag from 13ft away in the left thigh, and loosing 8 inchs of my artery. Id have to admit the Vascular Surgeon who saved my life and saved my leg by graphting a vein outta my other leg, probably is a tad bit more talented then the EMTs who got me stabilized and got me to the hospital. But thats just my experience.

Straight up, this was the most topical and serious podcast yall have done to date (TactiNews live in the field ft. Flip Flop Mullet Man when??). Really good takes regarding those on the ground who have to deal with the execution of the orders of the politicians who get to be on TV with clean hands. Keep it up brochachos. Side note - your customer support is excellent as a recently purchased product was damaged during transit, and the replacement process was incredibly easy! Also, i dont think ive ever seen a company push discounts and offers for customers as much as yall do. AR15 is in common use, as well is body armor thanks to you guys. (308 mag pouches when???)

To comment on GOA Jake's take on how Hispanics vote, their preference is for low taxes, high welfare spending, and are generally ambivalent towards preserving individual liberty. In short, they vote in their own interests, even if it's at the expense of the country. A Republican party that seeks to appeal to Hispanic voters to win is simply not a Republican party interested in preserving core constitutional values.

I’m a first generation American and I’m grateful my parents had me here instead of Mexico, born and raised Texan , my dad loves freedom and guns, bust his ass working, pays taxes, absolutely no criminal history. 99% of Mexican I know lean old school libertarian/right family values and freedom first. I LOVE TEXAS and I understand both sides of the isle when it comes to immigration but I think we need to have a way to let honest hard working immigrants that are going to support our country a way to immigrate that WORKS.

On the topic of Immigrants, I have only one real problem with anyone who moves to another country. That is those who refuse to learn the language of the country they are moving to. All too often i get the "No English, Espanol?" Some can speak English and refuse to. It pisses me off because I have tried to learn other languages and struggle with it. That's why I don't ever plan to move to another country. It's rude and disrespectful in my opinion. Like butchering French when in France, they get mad and just tell you to speak English. Lets get rid of the rich and politicians and maybe we could change things for the better.
