You could also try importing photoshop file as a PSB file it will keep the layering order.

Thanks for the info! Currently starting a little hobby project with a friend and there I bet I will learn a lot more things about how unity works and workflow!

how can you color each part individually and also not on the black lines? great video

That's quite simple, in Photoshop, as well as in many other drawing programs, you have a layer system. You just put your black outlines on one layer and you create a new layer below the outlines layer, to put down your colors. Later you can combine the two layers, if it is easier to handle, but for coloring, always seperate. The parts you can seperate by layer, as you see fit.

fun animation - Unity UI looks a lot like Blender

Well, animation programs (ok in this case game engine...) don't differ all that much. It's like Krita and Photoshop. You know you're going to have a tab for your layers, for your brushes...colours...etc. Here as well. You need a tab for your animation timeline, your file import, project viewer, graph editor...so the basics are always similar :)

@@Nonorama why reinvent the wheel, right - if a thing works, make it standard across all platforms - i am curious though, about the timeline/evolution of these various applications - as a Blender user i am often pleasantly surprised when i come across similarities (mostly because it's the only one i know)
