Got my MKII at junkyard with a blown motor for $400 (lucky I know). @JZGTE $1800 picked up, all the other bits too swap cost some money, especially clutch, w58 bellhousing and fly.... All in all, super cheap platform too go really fast!!!! Even my prior stock 7M swap had this car in the high 12's, so yes, cheap speed with awesome 80s looks!!!!!
What ever happened to this car? You should have made many more videos and got us an in depth look at it and....a ride along video. Sincerely....a fellow Mk2 enthusiast with a 2JZ-GTE swap also. :)
fuck i love how these bad boys squat....ive stiffened my mkII up significantly yet the old 7M makes it look like the diff is gunna drag...even when its breaking traction...
does anyone have parts for an 81 supra, i really need 2 rear mud guards..and a few other things. my cars interior is a dark blue, i need the plastic for the rear hatch , willing to look at anything you might have... tyvm..mike
Yes it is. I had to give up my 85 mkii 85 celica gts because I couldn't find ball joints and tie rod ends that would fit AND pass state safety inspection.
Danniel Giraldo Late response but, I have one and total cost with labor (changing to 2jz, R154 trans, custom driveshaft, and rebulit LSD) came to roughly under 8,000. The swap isn't too bad. Also the single turbo setup he has on there may raise the price a few grand.
