I NEVER understood the logo hype. Why are people grinding for a cosmetic item that don’t do nothing for you… The way things are looking 2K creators better branch out like Agent did with AMP, playback etc. because 2K doesn’t care about us. They are so distant from the community and they prolly won’t realize it till it’s too late and all their big content creators start doing a different thing or game 🤷‍♂️

People that are mad about the new patch on dribbling are so hypocritical. Whenever I complained that left right was way too OP, the left righters would tell me I just need to get good and learn to guard them. Now that 2k made dribbling more balanced, they saying the game is ruined… I can dribble just fine after the patch, sounds like the left righters need to “get good” and learn how to dribble.

I guess we just gotta keep grinding for our 2K logo Agent.... lol

When 2k dropped MyPark, it turned the game into a juggernaut that 2k themselves couldn't maintain. After 2k17 they couldn't keep up with the expectations. Then really fucked up by adding the neighborhood and the city when the only thing we actually cared about was better gameplay. But that shit got put on the back burner. They should've kept the same gameplay blueprint from 2k19 without the animations. They do too much rebuilding instead of improving and building on what already works..

Imagine thinking going 20mph back and forth behind a screen is basketball😂 shit like that is why I stopped playing 2k years ago. A bunch of people getting mad that they can't do shit that real NBA players can't even do.

Speaking as a game dev myself. It actually becomes really harder when worker with more people since a lot of the code is connected with each other. Most developers work different aswel. Every developer writes code in a different form which makes it harder for other devs to read and work further on wherever they were. Conclusion: We as developers are all different and work too different and therefore hiring more developers for coding might not be the greatest solution since it makes it harder to work on github as a group.

This stuff is just funny. Been playing 2k since Dreamcast and I miss the good ole days when 2k was just a semi sim bball game with no pay to win features or focus on everything but real basketball. Now this game is like a straight arcade game where everybody whines about players “powers” being op or nerfed every single patch. Every year they love the game. Two days later they hate it. Then they love it. Then they whine about it again. It doesn’t make sense for a developer to keep making a patch every time content creators get irritated with people learning how to manipulate the game. That’s what happens when you focus on player “archetype” and “powers” lol instead of some straight up basketball. In my humble opinion of course. Bless up 🙏🏾

honestly i think mainly the issue is 2k fatigue for me i've been playing every 2k since 2k9 and i can remember the best moments and most fun being on the 360 and half on the xbox one. 2k just doesnt excite me anymore and it might just be because mainly its nothing to really pull you back in every year other than playing with friends but that slowly died out as well

I personally feel like the latest patch was for the best. 1 person going for 50+ a game is cool RU-vid content but when people emulate that play style and every game feels like the same experience the fun is taken away. It was so bad before the most gaurds wouldn't pass to anyone because they believed the could win by themselves or that's the "meta" way to play. The content boosted the top guys on the community but destroyed the integrity of basketball. We play the game to win but we want to have fun and be involved with playing a 2-3 and running through a screen every single play. Some people will say I'm wrong but I go to Pro-Am to be hyper competitive but can walk in the rec with basically having a Pro Am team. It's ridiculous what people will do to win.

2K23 needs the old rep system back. And the game should be out for two years not 1. Bring the rep rewards such as the lions/tigers from 2K15 and the jetpack from 2K17. The city/The neighborhood should be in different cities every 2K such as New York,LA,Toronto and chicago. My career should be a more evolving thing. The story needs to make you want to know what happens next. Like in 17 when you're girlfriend broke up with you. And 2K shouldn't be biased of the 2K logos. Dont just give someone a logo cuz they're small or big. It should be earned. We also need an award ceremony at the end of 2K showing the first legend and the person with best stats and the most improved 2K player and The MVP 2K player as well as best content creator award. We need mascots back as rep up rewards as well. And no sorry ass skeleton. I mean a mascot of your choice every time you rep up after ss4 such as E1,E2,E3 and legend should automatically contain a mansion sky rise my court. As well as car to get around the city. It doesn't have to be name brand. (BTW this should be for PC,PS5, AND XBOX SERIES X due to them being the only systems able to handle all this. I also feel PC players shouldn't get the car reward nor the mascots until they can prove that they're responsible cause all they'll do is mod it into the game.)

I’m not a casual, been playing 2k for a long time so obv i get bored of it but i don’t complain that 2k isn’t giving me enough content, i just play another game. Welcome to 2k. It has regressed every year since Dreamcast due to its lack of innovation. Literally, it brought a lot of developers from NBA Live and allowed new content creators to soil its fabric of simulation basketball.

We know 2k uses the Logo to control content creators. And to take it with a grain of salt when someone with a logo says anything.

Left- righting in 2k22 took close to 3 months to fix. But a VC glitch got fixed in 10 minutes of its discovery.

I want 2k to reward skilled dribblers without taking out effective moves. Drop more effective animations, more cartoony and creative than anything, and take out zigzagging/ left right spam. Park would be so much more fun that way

Maybe if they introduced tiers of logos so that the smaller content creators get an opportunity to be known and the bigger creators also get their logos that they deserve. It would make the parks a whole lot more fun if you saw more logos and could pull up on someone and find out who they are.

I’ve been seeing these topics as of late and I can see where both sides are coming from. I’ve played Madden for a little over 2 decades and the way they killed off Franchise mode is down right unforgivable. I started playing 2k10 and skipped a couple years in between so I don’t have a bunch of time invested into 2k as a franchise. The only modes that interest me in both is myteam and honestly if you play any game long enough you will pick up on the games flaws. I get the whole games not being better than previous versions, games coming out half way done and glitches and exploits happening but compared to that other game I mentioned y’all have it really good.

I played 2K7-2K18. Haven’t played since. My lil brother and cousin (new 2K player) swear 2K is a great game. I tried 2K21 and told them It was trash and they swore it was great. Cousin bought 2K22, and now they saying it’s ass. These new fans don’t know, soem fans are deceptive. The OGs just know a game should be great, not ok.
