The previous video on I-40 in ABQ ended at an exit for NM-14 to Cedar Crest. It's a back way to Santa Fe called the Turquoise Trail. A little more alpine and you can see how the east side of the Sandias is more gently sloping than the west face towards Albuquerque. I-25 is available for your return to Albuquerque

Not bad! And a nice choice of music. Never been to Santa Fe, but that's something I plan to remedy when this bloody virus is...suppressed. Hope you have time in Las Vegas to check out the old movie film sites while you're there.

I never would have guessed that the highest elevation for a Capital would be Santa Fe.... I would have assumed Denver or Salt Lake City.

To be fair it doesn't seem like I-40 is very interesting east of Albuquerque. I-25 though... I guarantee you, next episode is going to be interesting.

Sir, what is the general condition of the Interstate highways in the West? I'm planning a trip to Phoenix, and I want to know if there are any roads you've encountered that are in terrible shape and should be avoided...Thank you!

I-40 is really hit or miss in Arizona and New Mexico. I-25 is in pretty rough shape in Northern New Mexico. I-10 I haven't been on east of Phoenix so I can't say there..
