Lt. Mark Garcia, I watched with intensity your well documented Slides, the 1st one that gives a taste of what one can expect inside the PMA. I was a frustrated PMAer myself, Batch 1968 sana. But I had my myopic eyes at 300 when I was about to take the PMA Entrance Exams. I had tears in my eyes when I was told not to anymore take the Exams - I was already out even before I could sit for the Exams. To think, my Dad - a 1st Tabak Division G-2 Intelligence officer & a Bataan Veteran - was my Idol and my intimate friend. Would you believe, every PMA Graduation, I would set aside my Sunday Morning just to watch each PMA Cadet go up the Stage before the Corp finally honour them with the traditional pass-in-review. I have two (2) sons, 16 & 15, relatively doing well in academics in the Public School and quite strong in Math and I guess in Speech, when I started telling them that PMA is MATH - they picked up after I sent them to Kumon to improve their Math. I continue to pray to see them at the Borromeo Field even just a Plebe, so I can somehow still feel how it would have been, had I been blessed with entry into the PMA. Just as a side story, the '68 Top Filipino at the PMA became my classmate at UP-Diliman for our MBA. The UP-MBA Graduating Class sorts its graduation list according to the overall class standing. Ed Nuqui was I guess No. 6. He was kidding me that he could have gone I slot lower at the PMA had I not been disqualified for Batch '68. I was UP-MBA Class Valedictorian, with a Magna Cum Laude Grade equivalent. Let me extend my utmost congratulations to your finishing your PMA sojourn and your courage to be part of the Elite Marine Corp. Atlist you will have a rank rank of Colonel in any Branch of service like my Civilian Classmates there. One of them is my former Highschool Classmate at Katipunan. Good luck to your sons.

When i saw your video i recall your father way back 1995. He is my junior drill instructor at marine basic school in Pmar ternate cavite. I saw you also visiting your father with your brother and mother. If i am not mistake your age betwen 6-7 yrs old... good luck and congrats you belng to the few the proud marines.... horah!
