😱 it’s amazing to hear the bmw engine revs go up and down a little as traction changes with the bumps on the track. That’d be hairy ride and it was awesome just to watch. Props to the dudes that built it. Big Horsepower out of old engines isn’t cheap or easy, no matter how good the starting point it is like the S38 or 2J or wherever. Awesome.
What the f... i have seen aloooot of drag races on youtube but this thing commands respect. No other words for that. Anything that can beat a veyron is just insane.
Damn Veyron is a high speed freight train but this M5 is at another level. These two cars are really rare speciements E34 BMW M5 with S38 and Bugatti Veyron are not often seen and these two on a strip is something.
How is this possible. Just over 1, 000 hp Veyron & about 500 hp from a BMW M5. The Veyron is much heavier but has a lot more POWER!!!! & can get 0 -60 in under 2.3 secs while a standard BMW is a bit slower ( i think ) at 2.8 or so secs ( i think!!!! But, don't quote me on it) I am not a car specialist or a know it all just a few basics on cars. I just DON'T BELIEVE the Veyron getting a wacking from a BMW It just seems impossible. I wasn't driving the Veyron that's why. 😁 But, this BMW was tuned right up to about 900 hp. No wonder that BEAUTIFUL!!! Veyron got a wacking down to weight difference of about 100 or so kg weight difference. What about putting that BMW up against the SS veyron & the CHIRON & see if it can beat them. ( hopefully not ) over a half a mile not about 200 to 300 max!!! or so yards ( what this looks like).
Didn’t have a bmw with anywhere near that power but holy fuck are they meant just to be fast. Hardest ride you’ll find in luxury cars you’d think it’s a lada. But then it has the highest grip and nasty acceleration. Brakes and turns like it’s on rails. If you’re not prepared those cars will throw you around inside the cabin. I love bimmers Rip 1999 528i sport package.
