We have a variation of this same story in the Gambia...lol, the main difference being that the girl was herself rejecting suitors and was looking for a perfect man, when she finally met him, lo and behold he was a snake...!! He also took her to the forest and turned into a big snake and she was out there singing out for help to the traders that were passing by.
Thank you so much story teller I do love mamona and the leopard story, this is how my life was when I was young my Uncle used to tell us stories like this every evening after hard work and eating heavily.
Pls let there be part 2 of maimuna cos I believe every one deserves a second chance with dat she will learnt her lesson also with her mother. Tnx nice story u have 😍
I always watch them befor going to bed . It really helps with sleep and widens knowledge. Very beautiful channel and lovely story stellar. The kids are amazing too.
Beautiful stories and I don’t think there should be a part 2. A similar story was told to me as a child. It was to teach us that we shouldn’t be stubborn and listen to our parents. I realized growing up that your parents aren’t your enemies, we should try to listen to them as often as we can for their words are wisdom and might save our lives. I have experienced this and I’m thankful to them . Well done ma ❤️
I made an announcement in my RU-vid community but it seems as though many of you aren't paying attention!. 🎁 There's a prize to be won courtesy Mynigerianfolktales 🎁 By the first 10 people who will be able to guess correctly the answer to the very last question in this 2nd compilation video.
The promise made is a promise. That was her fate and so everyone has his or her destiny. But some destiny are caused by our elders. For maimuna that was her fate caused by her mother due to her desperation for inneed of girl child.
@@adaokala1146 you tried but if you had watched my video after this video, you'd have known I had mentioned the answer is Adaugo. Thanks for watching tho😊
Omg, the udara tree story is in the Haitian children's books. The only difference I think is her stepmother and siblings I believe and an orange tree, not sure if that's what Nigerians called the udara tree
Maimuna could be rescued by a hunter or probably a missionary traveling to that part of the world, because I believe only God can save her from de hands of the devil and plus maybe that could be the beginning of the Hausa becoming Christians or realizing that we serve the same God
These stories are way deeper than that. This had happened to me but the fox was my aunite she seems sweet as fox but than realized she is a wicked women's they took my clothes out naked I was 6 years old. The rest inbox me. Peace is the best thing in life.
