This is a short film that we have made with the students of the Kolegio PapaCornes. It is the film that came in as a second place finalist at the premiere of the first Unicef Child Rights Film Festival Caribbean on Bonaire last month.
The proces:
1. the students received information about children's rights via Unicef Nederland
2. the students made a drawing about a right that is close to them or that they feel needs more attention paid to
3. the students vote for the top 3 drawings at their school
4. BYOF Media selected the best drawing from the top 3 drawings
5. BYOF Media media went to the school to the school to get information from the kids in order to write a script
6. the kids, with their parents together with the school teacher made all the preparations for the film day
7. BYOF Media filmed the film in 5 hours #nostress
8. the film was screened at the Courtyard by Marriott Bonaire during the premiere of the first Unicef Child Rights Film Festival Caribbean on Bonaire.
