@@JustDSMI have a 2009 6-speed TRD OR. It seems this tune is “geared toward” (ha!) autos and the gear finding. What are some of the benefits for an older manual? Does the tune help with living in higher elevations at 6200’? I’m not a hot rod type, but instead would like to see a little more power in the usable RPM range (2-4500rpm). I generally use the truck for commuting with no weight load. But occasionally I haul a small boat, drive over mountain passes, go into much higher elevations during camping and hunting seasons in rough forest roads, and haul the weight of a full camp with family weighting it down. Never had a problem, but it’d be nice to experience a bit of a power and drivability gain to give my 14 year old rig a pep in its step. Thanks for all your work and effort in making these toys fun and useful!

@@jacksonwholeexperience409 The actual engine calibration is the same between the auto and manual trucks. Even on 87 octane fuel you'll get a bump in power across the entire rev range (albiet slight on 87) it's quite noticeable with good fuel. Toyota didn't leave a whole lot on the table in stock form on these trucks, but it can be improved. Especially the low RPM/low-mid load cruise areas. We've really improved that area which sadly isn't something we can show in a dyno. While we do have a pretty good transmission tune for the Auto trucks, we are also able to eliminate (or dial back) the rev-hang these trucks are notorious for. This really improves the shifting and driving experience in my opinion. Remapping the throttle also does wonders for these vehicles as well. We've got a suite of settings to suite just about any driving style/use. I personally prefer the more mild settings and find them to work flawlessly offroad in slower/technical terrain while still being much more "engaging" to drive on the street. did it change your mileage at all?

​@@johnmowry8541 depends how you tune it. She seemed to be going for more power/punch. If it goes from point A to point B faster, with more punch, then it's going to use MORE gas. I don't think she mentioned that it's guzzling more gas, but I'll bet that it is.

4.0?

I had a Sprintbooster before I got this tune. Sprintbooster is great for eliminating throttle lag but this tune does that, adds power and changes the shifting characteristics which is way better. Really wakes the 4.0 up. The extra power is good if you have extra gear/weight.
