Let the bottle settle for a while first, then make sure your skin is moisturized! Plus other ppl will smell it more than you, you yourself will go nose blind.
I received this in the mail last week... The performance isn't so great....smells amazing it's just weak... I will let it macerate for a few weeks and get back to it... Tfs
BR extrait has a bitter almond note and makes it a sweeter (almost cherry like note) scent. I personally prefer the extrait scent over regular BR 540. I wouldn’t say you NEED both but the scents are different enough to have both. I think both are 100% unisex but extrait has a little bit more of a feminine quality in my opinion
I don't know if you guys had ever smelled rotten oranges that have fallen from the tree , when they fell they were ripe but got spoiled and rotten as time passed! Here in Puerto Rico we have a bunch of orange trees all over the island and BR 540 in all its glory in the opening smells just like rotten oranges😂. I like to play around with my friends here in the island by spraying it on a sample without them knowing is a perfume and asking them what does it reminds them of, each and everone of them says ROTTEN oranges or ROTTEN grapefruits 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂!.After I tell them how much it cost they say something like"I wouldn't even spray my dog with that abomination"😂😂😂 You just have to wait a while for that awful smell to settle down and for the sweet , floral and woody magic to kick in!
That’s so interesting!!! Let me go smell my BR 540 oil to see what rotten oranges smells like 😅😂 and let me make sure to never wear the scent when I go back to Puerto Rico
@@LoSoNatural :If you can get your hands on some oranges native to Puerto Rico just put them outside you house on the ground (high humid ground is best) and allow some time for them to spoil.Give them a whiff and give a wife to a sample of BR 540 afterwards, you'll find out what I am referring to!
