I searched for it like a madman, the beat is "Farid Bang Creed Instrumental". As for the original song, it is the classic "Going the Distance" by Bill Conti (Rocky soundtrack). Hope it helps.

2pac's original stuff is so good. It's his remixes that are creating a bad first impression on people who aren't familiar with his actual work. This remix is horrible and makes 2pac sound like a slow and dumb rapper, which he wasn't.

Yes Rocky, but the first rapper to rap over this beat was Notorious Big. Notorious BIG Feat. Puff Daddy & Busta Rhymes - VICTORY. There's a video of J Cole rapping over this beat before he was famous as well. Lloyd Banks also rapped over this beat. Forgot the name of that one but I remember him saying the line "I put a dot on your head like its part of your religion". Google that if you wanna find it. Im too lazy.
