Wise words being quoted, listen to the beginning. Pacs says "the one begoten son to lead the wild into the ways of the man. Robert f Kennedy when MLK was assassinated it's what pac was referring to, "TO TAME THE SAVAGENESS OF MAN AND MAKE GENTLE THE WAY OF THE WORLD" But what eads the wildness into the ways of the man. Wise words being quoted he was deep very deep. Go watch Robert f Kennedy speak on Martin Luther King jrs death then listen to the beginning of this again and understand the wise words being quoted. And how deep he was.
They're Distorting Your Rhthym 109 NAHMAN,he didn’t make it outta hospital 😔some 1 interfered(security on that night usin radio communication,”we got him”was heard, security had a hand in it or they were aware,REGGIE WRIGHT deemed it unessesary 2 carry weapons SO PAC cru couldn’t respond KRAZY BONE&CRU chased tha WHITE car managed too put a few rounds in but lost dem!BONE THUGZ only ppl too respond HE IN DA MANSION RIP PAC.
In my opinion, what separated Pac from the rest was the passion he put into his craft. Not only did you hear his songs, he made you feel them with his blend of story telling and passion.
His passion gets overplayed. I think the real reason Pac is able to resonate with so many people on a deep and profound level is that he tells their life stories. Pac is a poet. That is what is underplayed about him. His passion is real, but his stories are vignettes or depictions of real life events that many people in the struggle have went through. He made it cool to be vulnerable. Particularly, as a BM, where the cool, steely, stoic poise gets used as a shield, unnecessarily sometimes.
@@KtotheG that is laughable saying his passion is over played. You could say most song writers are poets, so what is so special about that, the industry is full of them. I'll give you the story telling and exemplifying his vulnerability as a black man. Pacs delivery is what brings it all home and makes people listen and feel what he is saying. That delivery is smothered in his passion that exudes on every song.
@@RealMcCoy0205 It is overplayed, because Pac was more than just a passionate rapper, but that's the only thing people mention when they talk about him. And really, a lot of rappers are passionate, but they don't get talked about as much as Pac. So there is something more there.
@@KtotheG none of them are on his level when it comes to expressing his passion and making people feel what he is saying. You keep saying it is over played is a disservice to his ability to convey said passion so thouroughly that so many people relate to it. You also state the obvious because passion alone never makes anyone great, it is just part of the overall package. You also say it yourself, that everyone mentions his passion, so that is the defining force for many and that means alot.
"Penitentiaries is packed with promise makers, never realize the precious time that bitch n--gas is wasting..." lmao, I remember being a new teenager when I heard that line, and how he removed all the perceived coolness from his stints in jail in 2 lines. Prison dudes thought Pac was one of them, and he basically reported to the world that the dudes he met inside were bumss
I still remember when I bought Makaveli from a street hawker in November of '96. I couldn't believe it was an actual new 2Pac album. The guy struggled to convince me at first. Remember we were all still reeling from Pac's demise. When I got home, it was goosebumps when "Hail Mary" came on. It's still haunting in '24🥶🥶🥶
"When they turn out the lights, I'll be there in the dark." The statement basically means 'even if I die, the impact I leave on the world will endure' 30 years later, here we all are.
@@Secularexpansion9 Yes and no, 2pac was the master at double entendre, "When they turn out the lights, I'll be there in the dark, thuggin eternal through my heart" the key word here is "eternal" When they turn out the lights (Even if they kill me), I'll be there in the dark. (where no one can see me), thuggin eternal through my heart. (i'll be here forever).
He wrote this song in 15minutes and then recorded it the same day he was a ghetto poet he kept his music raw and that is were everyone can relate he was the greatest.

@@24rules187 you’re right about that! And there’s a lot of us who are glad those who were born after pac listen to and love him. It keeps his memory alive! ❤
I’m 41, served in the Marines and went to combat. Became a police officer got fired, went back to city college transferred to a university and I’m working on my masters degree. This song has been bumped by me through all of it! 🎶
@@aidank7090 Being a corrupt piece of shit no doubt, the world never needed "law enforcement" to begin with. We can all take care of ourselves just fine without those tyrannical Nazis.
He was one of the best rappers simply because he was highly educated . He was very smart, intelligent. He did pose as a gangster but it’s an option to pose when you are an entertainer at such scale.
@@LEOfromSonsofSamoasome of y’all pac haters really need to get off line and get your mental health in order lol u on multiple videos mad at someone who been gone since 96 bro get your life together my god lol

I remember when this album came out, I was in school in West Africa. Almost 30 years later, this song still give me the chills ! The whole album is haunting. There will never be another 2Pac !
The Ability of Pac getting out of the juvenile straight to studio and releasing world class and best selling hip-hop Albums is remarkable I'll always have respect for Pac may his soul rest in power 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
A lot of rappers said this, pac wasn't just a rapper, he was something that was sent to us by somewhere, he was unique in his work ethic. Man, 4 songs a day that were absolutely dope. So sad puffy took him away from us
This song always puts me in a trance, folllow me..... I was 16 when this song came out, now im 43, still thumping this like back then, still the same feeling, thats when you know its real, pac reach deep down in your spirit and soul with his music, story of life, the struggle, hardship, he gave me hope as a black youngster that felt hopeless in them project courtyards, i wonder if heaven got a ghetto, lord knows, dear mama, unconditional love, shed so many tears, soulja story, broken wings, only fear of death, Black jesus, life goes on, my block, huh yall ain't ready, yall young man, listen to these songs and you we feel something, if your spirit right, pac gave you a balance of emotions, the good and the bad, cause as people both spirits dwell within us, which one manifest thats up to you and your awareness of it depending on how you vibrate, study your bible, don't read it show and prove

I had just entered 7th grade when the Music Video premiered.(when MTV etc still played Music Video more like short films cause everyone thought they were movie 🎥 stars🤨) I had never been more in love in my life which reminds true to this day. For me this song continues to be my favorite Tupac song because it embodies the entire attitude and mindset of growing up in the ‘90s which is known to be “The Deadliest Decade” This particular song makes me miss Pac the most every time I hear it played. 🥺😩
Dear Rappers of the future Take a listen to this song feel the beat, its definitely not todays at all.. 2pac you were taken to soon.. Your music will never die RIP 🙏🏻
FUKING AMAZING. one of the best rap songs ever produced! I was 8 when Pac died....became a big fan by the time I was 12-13....his songs will bump til the year 3000
