I'll give 10 minimum 10 beats better than this bro , many tears i grew up listening to it , but the beat ain't the best , if you say it is , you don't listen well
@@jeffrey.classicgamesjones2332 Hey Shock G did all that RIP 🙏 He was gifted from Tmh and them weak ass cowards murdered him! so if anyone anything, gone do sumn haunting it will be Yah we'd prolly like too💁🏽♀️ but Vengeance is the Lord🤷🏽♀️
I agree, the Stevie Wonder harmonica sample really elevates this beat a ton. A good example of how a short 3 second clip, when used well, makes all the difference. I also like how it is used pretty sparingly in the beat overall, I am a big believer in less-is-more.
"Yep!! Facts !!! Shows how much soul Shock and Pac had!! Stevie Wonder is one of the GOATS!!!!! One if the ultimate soul brothers!!!!!! I love 💖💖 Stevie Wonder, he's a god!!!!!"
Never fails. Every time I'm near tears. That's why I can't play it much. Puts me in a dark place because I can relate. Was never a thug or anything close, but I lost friends too young to violence (RIP Sharky). I felt like my life was slipping away when I was younger. But I was fortunate enough to veer in to a better path and live to be on the other side. Pac didn't get that chance. And we were robbed as a result.
@@mysteryman447 R.I.P. Shock-G without him there would be no 2Pac because he put him in the group Digital Underground as a backup dancer/ roadie early on in his career.
Now I'm lost and I'm weary, so many tears I'm suicidal, so don't stand near me My every move is a calculated step, to bring me closer To embrace an early death, now there's nothin'' left There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest I'm barely standin', bout to go to pieces, screamin' peace And though my soul was deleted, I couldn't see it I had my mind full of demons tryin' to break free They planted seeds and they hatched, sparkin' the flame Inside my brain like a match, such a dirty game No memories, just a misery Paintin' a picture of my enemies killin'' me, in my sleep Will I survive til the mo'nin, to see the sun Please Lord forgive me for my sins, cause here I come
You ain't alone my g, the inspiration is real cuh!

This song reminds me of 96 right after he died. Me and my friends went to the fair on the music ride they played all his songs all night. This came on when we got on. Best times!
Back in elementary, I thrived on misery Left me alone I grew up amongst a dying breed Inside my mind couldn't find a place to rest Until I got that Thug Life tatted on my chest Tell me can you feel me I'm not living in the past, you wanna last? Be the first to blast Remember Kato No longer with us; he's deceased Call on the sirens, seen him murdered in the streets, now rest in peace Is there heaven for a G? Remember me So many homies in the cemetery, shed so many tears I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears Lord, I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears Now that I'm struggling in this business, by any means Label me greedy gettin' green, but seldom seen And fuck the world cause I'm cursed, I'm having visions Of leaving here in a hearse, God can you feel me? Take me away from all the pressure and all the pain Show me some happiness again, I'm going blind I spend my time in this cell, ain't living well I know my destiny is Hell Where did I fail? My life is in denial and when I die Baptized in eternal fire I'll shed so many tears I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears Lord, I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears Now I'm lost and I'm weary So many tears I'm suicidal so don't stand near me My every move is a calculated step, to bring me closer To embrace an early death, now there's nothing left There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest I'm barely standing, bout to go to pieces, screamin' peace And though my soul was deleted, I couldn't see it I had my mind full of demons trying to break free They planted seeds and they hatched, sparking the flame Inside my brain like a match, such a dirty game No memories, just a misery Painting a picture of my enemies killing me, in my sleep Will I survive 'til the mornin' to see the sun Please Lord forgive me for my sins, cause here I come I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears Lord, I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears Lord knows I tried, been a witness to homicide Seen drive-bys takin' lives, little kids die Wonder why as I walk by Broken-hearted as I glance at the chalk line, getting high This ain't the life for me, I wanna change But ain't no future bright for me, I'm stuck in the game I'm trapped inside a maze See this Tanqueray influenced me to getting crazy Disillusioned lately, I've been really wanting babies So I could see a part of me that wasn't always shady Don't trust my lady cause she's a product of this poison I'm hearing noises, think she's fuckin' all my boys, can't take no more I'm fallin' to the floor; beggin' for the Lord to let me in To Heaven's door -- Shed so many tears Lord, I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears Lord, I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears God, I lost so many peers, and shed so many te
This song along with Dear Mama represent 2Pac maturity from the angry black male from his first two albums. He was at his greatest during this time '95 before Deathrow. All through he sold more with Deathrow, he was at his calmest and introspective. Just listen to how he sounded on this song and Dear Mama. Maybe prison did this to him, but he seem to understand the role of a role model and what he truly represented during that time. RIP 2Pac
He wasn't angry on his first two albums. more of the political/fun side to him. I do agree this is his most calmest album retrospective. All Eyes On Me was a West coast album.
Zak CFC, you are right. He recorded this before prison. It was mixed down when he was in prison and released. However, this album was totally different than the 2 previous solo albums as well as the Thug Life album. I remember when Me Against the World was released. It was like a new 2Pac from the Thug Life and Juice version. Sure, he made songs like Brendas got a baby, Part Time mutha and Keep Ya Head Up, but this album really felt like he understood his role in society and the impact he had. It was so much going on in his life during this time. He was being sued left and right, he just got shot, hollywood ( as far as movie roles) were turning him down. As far as his early albums, he had more fun but he was deeply impacted and or angry at the situations that took place from 91-93 like the Rodney King riots, Latosha Hardins death by a Korean, his own issues such as the Atlanta incident with the 2 cops, he was attacked by the police for jaywalking, etc. As far as All Eyez on Me, it doesn't feel like a true album. That album feels like a collection of songs put together than an overall theme. Even Daz said that all the beats that they were working on for other projects were giving to 2Pac for All Eyez on Me.
Even whitout his legendary lyrics the instrumental itself is still very powerful idk why but his music has helped me thru sadness, depression, happiness, anger and betreyal
"My aLord. Me to. Me against the World was his best CD and skways my favorite one,I would play it out and never skip a track. This one, So many Tears ,was always just OK to me, I loved the realness , otency from it in the lyrics, but the beat was kinda boring to me. Then when I was over my grandma house at 15, cuz I been a Pqc fanatic since 14, I payed close attention to the doominess and gloominess and realness of the beat and I fell in love 💖💖 with it. Now,easily one of my favorite Tupac beats ever and I constantly sing the lyrics to this and beat box the beat in the shower ,lol. My soul always cries to it, because I've been through so much in my life. I've shedded so many tears on the inside, seen so many sad days and I've cried a few times physically too. For real, WE DESETVE TO GO TO HEAVEN after everything we've been through and seen, WE DESERVE A BREAK and REST, for real, STUFF CRAZY. SMH. Lord have mercy on us ALL!!"
"Facts. I was fourteen in the early two thousands, I had the boitkeg CD, I wore it out. That was his best album, and for me, Me against the world was the best song on there,I like the more positive , optimistic ,up beat Pac joins. Blood went pretty dark on this one, I don't care for some of the dark, hopeless, sad stuff he said on this one . He literally out himself in hell on here. NO HUMAN DESERVES TO GO TO HELL. That place is too CRUEL and TO UNUSUAL for mean, hence why JESUS came and saved us from it. WE ONLY GO BY OUR Choices and that's it, NOTHING EKSE. NO ONE CAN HANDLE HELL, no IS WORTHY to go to HELL. "
You could tell Shock G studied music theory in school. All his beats were unconventional, most of them even fun, but this is one of the darkest tracks he ever made.
"Beautifully masterfully said. That's my whole STYLE, unconventional. From my girls, to my style in fashion and music. I go for the stuff thats outside the standard. Shock G was very unique, he was one if them ones. I love 💖💖 very unique stuff,I'm a ecctrentric, I like different, weird stuff. Lol, it's just the way I was made. Shock G was a legend,a nyrh,a man. "
without a doubt this is the hardest song he created,I ain't his biggest fan of music but this was the one, I'm a fan of his films, my all-time favorite film he starred in, Above The Rim.
I give MAJOR props to the producer of this music. Pac’s lyrics does major justice, and I remember when this came out as I was only a year older than Pac, but it still resonates deep. ✌🏽and 💜 to all humanity. GODFIRST!
So many were the tears of GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT, that the SPIRIT cried above the face of the WATER the world over. Afterward, the same SPIRIT THE COMFORTER, collected my tears to place them in GOD'S HOLY MERCY SEAT.
"That's BEAUTIFUL,GORFEOUS,SWEET. No one has felt more PAIN ir cried MORE tears than The One that Created us, God. Lord have mercy, that's show nuff real. Everyone DESERVES love, forgiveness and to go to HEAVEN no matter what they've done. Killers, gang bangers rappers, devil worshippers, EVERY ONE DESERVES TO GO TO HEAVEN, Inspite if, YOU JUST GOTTA REPENT. "
"Oh I meant WE just got to REPENT of course. No way to GODS redemption and second cha ces, unless you REPENT. That's to ask for forgiveness. We all make MISTAKES and BAD DECISIONS, and though that makes us BAD AS PEOPLE, it doesn't make our VERY LIVES and EXISTENCES BAD, that's TOO MUCH We are ALL BAD MORALLY, but WE ARE NOT MISTAKES AND WORTHLESS. Our MISTAKES and SINS do not define US. The WORST sinners, the SORST of the WORST, DESERVE MERCY,PITY ABD LOVE STILL. Only when WE REJECT GOD'S WORD, THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, do we DESERVE HIS WRATH. Understand you are BELOVED, MUCH WORTHY and YOU DESRRVE ALL THE REST ABD BREAKS IM THE WORLD. Cuz we TORE UP and WRETCHEF, WE BORDERLINE MISTAJES and WORTHLESS, BUT NOT IT COMPLETELY, WE STILL DESERVE AND NEED HELP. And that's REAL!!!!! I LOVE 💖💖 THAT, I LOVE 💖💖 YOU,BLESS!!"
"Grab a nigga an take me to heaven" one of the sickest bests ever made I swear I don't know what was going on in Tupac's mind when they were making this beat but I'm glad he heard what he heard to make a song out of this beat because it's just fire still to this day
Lots of people are unaware who is behind that name. The rapreviews.com review of the album is particularly funny with respect to this as it says "So you say that D-Flizno doesn't have the reputation of Battlecat or DJ Quik? So what!".... Well, actually D-Flizno does have a similar reputation... You would think they of all people would know, especially given that it's not as if Shock G hasn't talked about this song in interviews, etc.
