As you know, the truth shall set all free from mental and physical bondage that has, for too long, held sway over the masses. He saw STRAIGHT through all that B.S. being fed to everyone and spoke against it for the betterment of all mankind. His words and lyrics cut through it all as if with a mighty sword, and I truly believe that he was a gift to this world. That's because modern rap and hip-hop perpetuates and promotes a lifestyle of drugs and crime. They glorify it and the youth of today is poisoned by it. Parents aren't instilling good values into their children and basically let them run wild like animals, so why are we surprised when they act like such? The "culture" needs to change because it's entirely irresponsible. Disrespect is rampant among the youth and they aren't being brought up with any consequences, so when they become adults, they feel like they can do whatever they want with no repercussions. This is a breeding ground for more crime and death, and yet, people want to blame everyone but themselves for how their lives end up.

A bad, destructive message. Get up off your butt and get a job. You may not be rich but if you put your trust in God, He will never let you down God will provide. Stop blaming people for your problems, stop playing the victim. Get up, get a job, and get to work. Stop complaining and give God thanks. Most importantly repent and believe in the One who God sent to save you. Jesus Christ. Because the gifts of grace, salvation and eternal life are more important than anything. Tupac often times carried a destructive, violent message, it's no wonder why he died a violent , destructive death. Live by the sword, die by the sword

I was a teenager when I first found out about 2Pac. I was 12 to 15 years old when they took him. The first thing I ever heard about 2Pac was some jealous person hating on him. Then I started listening to his music and discovered that he was better than 95% of other rappers. I’ve always liked 2pac. It’s amazing how much love he gets nowadays. Back then he was hated by many people. No one could compete with him. One of the last albums that he put out had $80 million in sales in a very short time. Those were insane members at the time... and still are today. He had such a presence, he was the center of attention in any setting he was in. Just looking at him (unbelievably handsome individual) and seeing how talented he was in many areas… It’s not hard to see the heavy amount of jealousy that others had towards him. And that’s probably why things ended for him at just 25. Now that I look back…He was just a kid. He had way too much knowledge for his own good. Other rappers that were as big as him kept quiet on political issues. 2pac didn’t… He spoke his mind on everything. And he was very passionate. As many people that didn’t like them… Just as many did like him. So he genuinely experienced both sides of the “coin”. 2pac was very polarizing. You either really liked him or you really hated him back then. I really wonder what happened… Was it the government that rubbed him out because they knew how powerful he was and the potential he had to become even more powerful (politically)? Was it his haters that were so unbelievably jealous of him and secretly wanted to be him? Was it one of the many many women that he was with for a night or two then rejected…possibly a female trying to get back at him by spreading lies and rumors about him and then got someone to take revenge? Who knows. It’s been 25 years and it’s still a mystery. At this point, we will never know.

Hit thier peak? Pac was most definitely at his peak! Biggie on the other hand only had 1 album out. What I don't get is how can biggie be 1 of the greatest with 1 album? People don't put 50 cent in their top 10 but if 50 died after his 1st big album get rich or die tryin' people would have called him the greatest ever just by that 1 album, I just got off topic but pac had plenty of albums out, every top rapper career are based off thier 1st 5 years usually, cuz its usually thier best years.

@@lawlor2925 you would be right if his peak was limited to his music career. He was a great thinker, a visionary.
