@@waquin1 he wouldn't have needed to fill a niche to gain a foothold, connections with such popular artists would get him into the black market he's been locked out of for years and that's not to mention the huge exposure thanks to collabs like this
Tech n9ne the most consistent rapper out there been listening to him since I was 14 that was 12 years ago . Still finding music I've never heard from him and still coming out with music I bump the mans a living legend
Taylor Yost so you have only listened to him for 12 years? Have you heard all his shit. I’m 32 and have been bumpin tech since 9th grade. He’s an OG bro
I so agree. He is one talented man and always makes a hit. And he always joins with other artist u would never think of him making a song with, then surprise!
I hope everybody really thinks about how tech spit this verse in 97 and NOBODY was on that level back then, spitting them kind of flows, that hard, and 100 percent real wit it, all of techs music is literally timeless.
The fact that he is literally the same back then as he is now is blowing my fucking mind right now. Dude, the man is a fucking prodigy and shall never be topped.
I've listened to Pac my whole life and just started listening to tech like two or three years now AND never heard they collabed, this is a Masterpiece.
@@brandon0981 This isn't actually dubbed in. They really met Pac in like 95 or 96'. But after Pac died they edited N9na out... So they leaked the original version.
@@joshw6631 Are you seriously jealous that you were born a little later and only just found out about Tech through social media? That's the only logical conclusion I can come to after reading your comment.
I met tech back in "96 when I went to KC to record a demo. The producer told tech to come through because our subject matter was similar. I could tell by the look on his face that didn't think I would be any good. After I spit, he invited us to his studio session where he recorded Cloudy Eye Stroll and Mitch Bade. I wanted to do a song with him but I was nowhere near being ready back then.
Cuz no one wants to admit their favorite artist isn't as good and for some people saying Tech is better than Pac and Biggie is like a diss to them and most people have nostalgia with those two and it's hard to accept facts. Which is understandable HipHopDXL did a video explains why he is the goat and they pretty much say he's the goat the only thing that holds him back is you can walk down the street stop a random person and ask who Eminem is for example and they'll say they've heard of him. Whereas it's no for Tech so really if he was more popular then what he already is which is pretty big he'd probably be considered the GOAT
Lu S skill wise I think he number one his technique and he flow and his word play is flawless the only one who I close to him in my opinion is Rittz. Rittz flow is crazy insane and I've never heard a bad song from Rittz. Don't think you understood my comment you asked why people don't see him as the goat I said he is the goat in all aspects the only thing that holds him back from being called the goat is he's not as famous. You can be the greatest but if no one knows who you are and can see your skill it doesn't really matter. If he was more popular people would see. He's slowly getting there he just keeps getting more and more popular
No such thing as a goat. Everyone has opinions on who the best rapper is. But in reality no one is better than another. Everyone may have better skills with certain things but in no way is one human better than another. That is just mindless assumptions
I'm so fucking happy this is a real song and not a mashup like seriously!?? That's so amazing both my favorites actually collabed like what is life right now and it's such a great song! Gives you that happy feeling
@ZeusesCannons the only reason I say so is because in his song cursed on anjhellic album he says him and pac had a song where he said their slogan was thugs get lonely too
This a post death song of pac's, however Tech n9ne did know 2pac and was the only non Deathrow rapper on the gang related soundtrack because Pac liked him.
After listening to "I ain't", I had to go on a research spree, to find out if truly tech sang with all those he mentioned, bruh he freaking did!!! Goat tech did!!!
I feel ashamed, been a fan of tech and pac for over 15 years and never knew they had a legit song together... I always assumed this was some sort of remix
Krayzie Bone, Twista, Styles P, & Jadakiss are all in that bracket, too. Could name more, but I agree. Tech is the face of underground Hip Hop. 40 is definitely reigning champ as far as longevity goes, though.
Man... I'm blown away right now. I'm 35, been a Pac fan since I was 7.. my silly ass thought this was Tretch!! All these years...Smmfh..... Newfound respect for the homie Tech9
I love that people are just finding this track to this day and it’s new to them but it’s where I found him like 20+ years ago and he’s still the same dude
This is ligit I just watched a tech n9ne interview saying it was a song he recorded a verse for it. Sadly it was after Tupac died. Chur peace ☮️ and love from a tech and Tupac fan.
First heard this back in 1998. Loved this version ever since. Makaveli was sooo dammmm great that we didn't deserve him. He knew that and blessed us with his lifetime of music. Awesome!!!
Pac is my favorite rapper of all time and I been listening to tech since 99 when he put out his first album I had no idea he did this with pac and I'm sad they never released this.
@@adonisg667 first of all, don't come at me like that. Secondly, mumble rappers aren't big in Ethiopia, nor do i listen to them - the reason you brought them up is because you probably do. And where are you from to be making fun of the mighty Ethiopia? Thirdly, i like to listen to a range of music, from 90s hip hop to traditional Ethiopian music to grime (if you even know what that is). Fourthly, i can easily comprehend what he's saying, and it ain't special like you think it is. All you eminem fans are literally sucking his dick, and you can't get off it. Listening to rap god (one of his most famous songs) was hardly as good as what I listen to normally.
I remember my stepdad bumpin this when i was being drove to school. Always been one of my favorites. He got shot up driving down the road, but still damn good song
Tech N9ne is Tupac and Eminem is Biggie. Both have done features with the 2 legends and now they are both considered legends. The longevity in tech and Em is insane.
Honestly I think the only difference between tech and pac is that tech is still here. A living legend cut short off a string of a greatness. Oh what they could’ve done….mad love tech!
I ran into tech after Anghelic he was promoting absolute power walking around handing his demo CD out .. been a fan since early 2000's when he still rocked the red hair.. Tech has a bad ass stage show also .. best lives I ever seen to date
Finally!! You guys have no idea how long I've been looking for this song. Been jammin to Tech since 04 and Tupac practically my whole life and been trying to find this song but didn't know the name and kept getting routed to mash ups. Insta replay!!!
When tech said he has a song with pac I thought he was referring to big bad wolf which was made after pac passed. I've been a tech fan for 16 years and this is my first time hearing this. Wish he would rap over more production like this great song
Pretty sure it's just cos it's simple rhyme schemes for his flow 😂 The best thing is though when he started, I wasn't 100% sure it was real cos he sounded so weird, but as soon as I heard the Malibu I was like, yep deffo real, peoples voices just change a lot 😂😂
I remember on one of his songs, can’t remember what it was, but he said the line “HOW CAN TUPAC BE WRONG, BITCH?!”. Then there was the line from If I Ain’t.
Heard this one in late ‘96 early ‘97 right after he died and his music was gold. My cousin got like 3 bootleg Pac cds with mostly unreleased music that you could tell wasn’t fine tuned by engineers yet but we stilled bumped it hard especially this one.
