@room616oc
@room616oc 2 года назад
1.4m in 1995 is probably like 10m nowadays. In the documentary Defiant One they claimed that he was bailed by Interscope ppl. So did they really give the money to Suge to bail him out? Too many claim to care nowadays. Where were they in 95 when PAC needed a million? This industry is fake as fuck.
@travelinman
@travelinman 2 года назад
@@room616oc It is bro. But to keep it real Interscope was exhausted with Pac. At the time Strictly For My Niggas was his only platinum selling album. And I think at the time it only went platinum once. And Pac had so many cases that they had to pay for. Some valid but a lot were unnecessary. So by the time the rape case came they were done. It’s like the boy who cried wolf. So many unnecessary legal fees so when you really need it they chose to leave him stranded. Keep in mind this was before Me Against The World dropped. And the money he made from that album went to his current legal fees.

Tupac was drunk. He made a grave mistake while drunk. Witnesses have said he was drunk at the Mike Tyson fight. It's kind of like driving drunk. You know it's stupid but when your drunk, you do stupid shit. I wish he was more careful but it is what it is.
@coreyrowe4119

I'm glad somebody finally brought this up. Everybody forgets Pac was on bail when this happened and probably would've faced serious legal consequences if he survived. The MGM surveillance footage was used to put Suge in jail so I gotta believe Pac would've suffered a similar fate. Pac is probably lucky Orlando got to him first. He probably would've chosen death over going back to jail at that point.

@coreyrowe4119
@coreyrowe4119 2 года назад
Possibly getting banned from the MGM would've been the least of 2pac's problems if he avoided getting shot that night and left Vegas in one piece. The feds probably would've revoked his bail and sent him back to prison just like they did with Suge's probation. Orlando and the southside crips would've still been looking for Pac when they got back home so they could still get their revenge for what he did that night too.

This is not correct. The only reason Vegas PD looked at the video tape of 2Pac and Suge beating on Baby Lane was because of the murder. If the murder did not occur, no one would have bothered looking at the surveillance. There would have been no crime reported.

Great perspective from Richardson here, however violating Tupac for the Anderson beat down might’ve been trickier than it was for Suge because Pac is not actually caught on camera punching or kicking Anderson and Anderson didn’t press any charges at the time - that only happened after Pac died and Anderson countered Afeni’s lawsuit against him. By the way, I think it really helped Pac’s legacy by the world not being able to see Pac sucker-punch Anderson because Richardson is right, Pac was the aggressor in that incident so the world might’ve looked on Pac more unsympathetically if we could actually see him sucker-punch Anderson.
