Taecyeon is a gentle person. He might be loud, naughty and messy player but he is a sweet son to his mom. A hardworking and smart. I also admire him for what he believes he thinks right that is why 2PM is forever brothers.
The side we see in stage is his professional/wild 2pm persona. It takes A LOT of discipline. Let's not forget that he had surgery to fix his broken arm and served with highest military distinction. Off hours he seems like a calm private person and a 'safeheaven' with his girlfriend of many years. Loving his acting development. 'Secret Inspector' role seems custom written for him.

The long-awaited addition to the fun-house series that is 2PM. Ok Taecyeon is just...what you see is exactly what you get. He doesn't hide his 'quirkiness', his 'weirdness', etc. In fact, he's lowkey proud of them 😂 I like that he's not a cliche 'tall, dark and handsome'. He can be foolish, he can be dorky, he can be hot and masculine all at the same time. There's only one Ok Taecyeon in the world, and he's not up for grabs! Oh, and the ones who can always be counted on to control him and shut him up is khun and chan 😂
I am so soft for Taecyeon, seriously... He is the reason why I got into 2PM 7 years ago. I still remember my reaction when I was watching "Go Crazy" MV and kept asking to myself... Who the hell is this GOD? Then, I fell in love not only with his appeareance, but with his personality. He is the kind of idol that could easily be your long time friend; humble, smart, fun and down to earth.
Taecyeon, in the rare moments when he's still and quiet looks like a handsome, brooding man with a hint of hidden danger. Then he breaks from that and becomes a giant ball of goof and cute and your brain fails to process what the hell just happened. Don't ever change Mr Ok, you're definitely too good for this earth and we don't deserve you.

Taec was the first 2PM member that I know of a few years back. I see him as this big guy with a big heart, extremely loud but smart and sensible. He may not be my bias but he'll be the first person I'll run to for help 😄
He just needs someone who has his level of energy and fun to play with. He can be serious when he wants to be. He was really serious on I got married. He’s an actor so he definitely has a serious side as well.

Before the Wildbeat show I always thought that Taecyeon was very organized, that he was thrifty and that he was very active, the show showed me the opposite lol 😂😂😂

After watching Taecyeon's interview with Eric nam on the daebak show I now know taecyeon did this for sh*ts and giggles. But he's good and has so much fun in his career. He's so crazy but we hottest love him and all of them together🎉
He said in another video that he is actually an "I" (MBTI) so I think he just wants to make everyone laugh and join in whatever madness that is usually started by Wooyoung, Jun.K and Chansung. Otherwise the other 2 I guys (Khun and Junho) will sit back and just giggle along. He is the one who can make usually cool and calm Khun become crazy. 😂

I don't know why, but I sense that his girlfriend of almost 5 years has a great sense of humor and is his 'safety island' where he can just relax. To be together this long (regardless of initial attraction/$$/etc) takes an incredible commitment and respect for a partner especially in his industry. Probably MORE tactical covert planning than a military operation, lol. Taec's smart, ambitious, resourceful, excelling in acting with enthusiasm and dedication bringing in even more fans for 2PM and 2nd gen Idol awesomeness, damn hard worker and (NEVER FORGET the king of 'harteau'🤣😍(BTW - Look up his militaryservice honrs and appropriate well-deserved nickname👍). P.S. section added as an very optional read 😎🤣😁 based on mid-50s life experiences. I applaud the and have hope that they make many more great memories together, on THEIR terms. It can't be easy, but overcoming obstacles does really make for a great training ground, lol. Dating a non-celebrity doesn't make it easier, that's for sure - the thought of hundreds of thousands of entitled immature fans attacking a person one loves is terrifying to an outsider like me. Knowing that your (well-known) filial man-childhas a loving partner can only bring relief to any mother. Should Taec and his love take it to the next level he's got loads of great role models in other celebrities who admirably balance family lives (Rain, Gummy & her equally beloved seetie, Ha Tae-Hyum, etc) even in this crazy industry. Shared values (hopefully good/healthy ones) are a must. Period. Be willing to stay firm on drawing the 'privacy line' comfortable to both - example family privacy 'tough guy' Rain as an example. He's also unashamedly proud of working hard for his family and his equally famous wife as a mother and a precious partner, more so than her iconic SKo beauty status. Initial love chemistry's just not enough unless ther's a deeper value placed on flexibility, patience, freedom to be yourself fully 'warts and all', allowing it all to grow and change over time. Financial woes are a big deal, of course, but there are many couples/families who struggle financially but their love between the couple and value placed on family is unattainable for most. Privacy and normalcy (especially for celebs) is a 'unicorn', which The Successful Ones cover in titanium armor and defend/demand with reasonable pleas or blunt 'hands off' statements. Let's face it, it's a sickness that exists within fanbases like cancer or a bad case of hemorrhoids (FACT 😩🙄) though is getting a bit better with international Hallyou and other Westrn middle finger to k-nets. When you treasure someone(s) it's a wise and reasonable expectation mostly disregarded by 98% of Asian 'fans' who flip on a dime, (no evidence needed - just an anonymous slanderous post, basic dating non-event, engagement (🤯😱), rumor is enough to 'cancel' a celeb they would have claimed to defend from a speck of dust a day before they see the obligatory (🤬📢WTF?!) apology to the fanbase for dating or marrying someone he/she treasures, often for years in secrecy just to have private life. When I watched Wild Beat, I feel like Taek was full of fun and a very interesting guy to hang out with, while Junho was always worried and kinda made me tired. But in real life, if I am going on a trip like that, I will definitely become Junho, and people like Taek will absolutely piss me off and make me want to kill them lol. FYI, Junho is always my bias since the first day I sank into 2PM world.

At least taecyeon seems to shed light to the 7 member in a positive manner. Most of the 7 member flashbacks are from him. The rest of them seem to really disregard it owing to the negativity they felt during those times, and I agree with 6 members, but I wish they'd do a reunion :( thankies to taecyeon for bringing it up from time to time :)
