I would say that Almost Easy is the song that introduced me to A7X and still my favorite by them. So happy that I was able to see them live at least once. I still miss Jimmy to this day...
Next : Beast and the harlot Buried alive Afterlife A little piece of heaven Second heartbeat Nightmare M.I.A Seize the day So far away Unholy confessions
I highly recommend “The Stage” by Avenged Sevenfold...this song is definitely at another level when it comes to their already special discography...the same titled album of said song is still one of my favorite albums of all time after almost 4 years of its release
@Interlution...exactly...I think their discography was already really good prior...but there’s just something about the stage that has more progressive style songwriting with still enough memorable anthem like elements that appeals to me even more
@@playstationmetalhead2182 Agreed. Plus Synyster Gates (my favorite guitar player) really showed a lot of skill when it came to his solos. If you noticed most of Syn's solos in The Stage were very less shreddy and more melodic with single notes being bend. You can tell Syn knows a lot of blue/jazz scales
I’m glad you told them. I was getting on here to let them know. Please Grannies react to Bullet For My Valentine’s “Tears Don’t Fall”. I think y’all would get a kick out of that video and song
This song is based on the movie "Fear and loathing in Las Vegas" that starred Johnny Depp. It is a adaptation of the book of the same name by a rather unknown but infinitely genius writer Hunter S Thompson. His books are truely unique and interesting.
Avenged Sevenfold has been my favorite band since I discovered them in 2011. Sure they're "mainstream" but it's one of the few good mainstream bands that I enjoy.
@@archangelspythons I wouldn't exactly call myself a hipster. Just stuck in my own era xD... I usually only listen to bands from the 2000's, even if they were mainstream back then. Green Day, Linkin Park, Shinedown, Skillet, etc. all were big in that time but not so much anymore. Not sure if you can call that being a hipster since they were mainstream but aren't anymore.
What I’ve always gotten out of this song, was that if you let yourself be open to beastly evil, cruelty, and vices(like drugs, alcohol, women, etc.) then you get rid of the pain of being a man(responsibility), but you have to live with the consequences of being a beast. Such as, lack of self control, dealing with the guilt of your conscience, the regrets of a purposeless life, etc. To me, this song is very similar to old proverb, ‘If you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.’
my favorite song by them is a song called Carry On, which they made for a Call of Duty video game. The music video was actually after the credits for the video game, and its a great song.
Awesome reaction like every other one you two make! I have nothing but utmost respect for both of you for doing these types of videos. Rock on Grannies!
react to these songs by Avenged Sevenfold (A7X): Beast and the Harlot Afterlife Buried Alive Nightmare So Far Away (tribute to their late drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan) Hail to the King.
So awesome, I knew #Avengedsevefold with this song. Proud for being #Grannysquad member. Suggestions for more reactions ghost rats, ghost dance Macabre, Avengedsevenfold nightmare, so far away, Hail to the king. #Tworockinggrannies rules
You should look into Cradle of Filth.. maybe Nemphetamine to start? Or Ghost in the fog? It's death metal+opera+a full orchestra.. It's still some of my favorite music.
You should definitely react to some Blind Guardian. Preferably live versions of The Bards Song and Valhalla (there is a video from Wacken with both these songs). They are on another level live
hey grannies, i saw your demolisher video, glad you had a good time, i wanted to drop another suggestion, Fit For An Autopsy Your Pain Is Mine not super heavy and fast liek demolisher, just an,imo, really good song i don't see a lot of people having heard/reacted to. see ya around!
That’s one of my favorite songs by avenged sevenfold alongside little peace of heaven. Also try Rise of the Northstar with Here comes the Boom please :)
A7x was great for their first three albums and list their edge as time went on. The instruments are great but I don’t know they went a different direction.
Love this band seem them live 5 times now. Still waiting for my favorite rocking granny's to React to Ice nine Kills Communion of the cursed Official music video
Hey grannies love all your videos just went on a huge binge and watched every single video I was actually going to recommend to do avenged sevenfold and seen this when I went to comment but please please next do the stage I think you will enjoy the song and music video it's really theatrical so my recommendation for next song by a7x is "the stage"
I would LOVE to see Love You to Dead by Type O Negative (preferably not the music video, they chop the song up.) Closer by Nine Inch Nails, and Dance Macabre by Ghost
@@andyv2209 wait, A Little Piece Of Heaven is a masterpiece on it's own so many elements and the storytelling is quite magnificent truly one of the most unique songs made by A7X, killer drum tempos btw
You two should check out their newest stuff! The song "The Stage" off of the album of the same name is amazing. The stage is in my opinion their best album!
I think that The Stage is their weakest album to date, but I respect your opinion. I'd say either their self titled, City of Evil, or Nightmare is their best. That's when I was obsessed with them at least.
The ONLY thing I don't like about this music video is that it cuts out a fair amount of the song. Aside from that, it's a really great mv and a great reference to Fear and Loathing.
