This board is pretty incredible for a first generation. I hope this company sees success and continues to make innovative boards

I'm calling it. These things will have full suspension and people will race them offroad in the future.

I feel like it could use a retractable handle somewhere (balanced properly) to allow you to hold it with one hand; I am not seeing that in the video. If you run out of juice that's a long awkward walk home.

I feel like if you tried riding it like a scooter it wouldn't turn out well, seems at low speeds the front wheel likes to rotate more than at high speeds and with you pumping it'd be all over the place. If you mean a handle like an EUC has just for carrying it behind you I've seen someone dragging it like a suitcase by grabbing the caster end and trailing it behind them and it didn't seem too awkward.

Put your front foot on board, shove off with back foot and you're up and running. I made fenders for mine, front out of an inner tube zip tied to the front frame and a flat plastic piece zip tied to the rear tab in front of the wheel, works great! Build quality is superb, even under close scrutiny.

Does your board holdup in the rain?
@retrothruster2539
@retrothruster2539 Год назад
@@spartankittygames I'm sure it would but I've not tried it, the deck is sealed pretty well and I've installed custom fenders on mine that should help in the event of rain, if I had to ride in the rain, I'd probably do some waterproofing just to be on the safe side

@@retrothruster2539thanks for the response. Im very interested in buying this board, but riding in wet conditions would be a make or break for me, as Id want it to be a board I could rely on. Looks awesome to ride though

@@spartankittygames our boards are water resistant! Riding through a puddle or getting caught in the rain is fine. Its not waterproof so you cant submerge it in water. We also have recently released fenders!

I had been interested in purchasing a 2swift for over a year and had watched lots of video reviews in hopes of finding out if this is something I would enjoy (including this great review). For background, I am nearing 50 years old and love snowboarding, wakeboarding, and just about all things PEV (e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skates,...). I am fortunate enough to have owned a Onewheel GT, Inmotion V12 EUC, and Exway Wave eskate. While all of those are tons of fun in their own right, the 2swift has instantly become my favorite. I was able to rent one at a local shop to see if I would enjoy it as much as others have described. After the rental, I decided to sell my Onewheel GT so I could purchase the 2swift. This isn't meant to begin a debate over which is better; the Onewheel and 2swift have different pros/cons. I've read some comparisons of the Onewheel as a ninja, and the 2swift as a surfboard. I don't know the best description; I do agree that the Onewheel is very agile, responsive, and tons of fun. That being said, I still prefer the sheer enjoyment I get riding the 2swift. Carving on the 2swift is the closest I've come to the feeling of carving on a snowboard. Carving on an eskate and on the Onewheel is a great feeling, but somehow (amazing application of physics in the design) the 2swift is smoother on the turns and feels incredible (more natural and effortless). I live on a wide street with very little traffic, so I can enjoy long lazy s-curves similar to a wide open ski run. I don't think this would be as enjoyable as a Onewheel on tight sidewalks or other terrain requiring tight turning. But for the streets I have access to, this is my preferred ride when looking to replicate the snowboard feel without a mountain nearby. At my age, it takes too long to recover from an injury, and I love that I can have a ball on the 2swift without having to go over 15 mph (it goes faster if speed is a priority to you). Hope this comment is helpful to anyone on the fence about purchasing a 2swift.

The adoption rate for these board seems to be pretty slow in comparison to something like the OneWheel.

Clever, should be stable as the top of the deck is lower than the centre of the wheel

Same as just about everything, brakes. Joke aside, it has regen braking, and you use a remote for acceleration and brakes.

As a skateboarder, I know that board will get really scuffed up over time because you'll have to come to stop. It's really a scooter with no handle - when it rocks over, it will get loads of scuffs and scratches.

The enjoyment of riding something like this comes from the flow state that it puts you in. Its difficult to explain unless you have experience in surfing or snowboarding.
