it sounds like much of the gents, castle castings sirens but in USA the difference is the frequency and voltages are different then England and the rest of the world. in the USA the frequency is 60 Hz or 60 cycles a second in single or three phase they are typically run depending on the model in other parts of the world the frequency with electrical AC power there is 50 Hz or 50 cycles a second. with much different voltages either single or three phase. a siren regardless of the voltage and phase but on 50 hz will be much slower than a siren running on 60 Hz. the 2T22 is ment to be mounted vertically unlike the castle siren its mounted horizontally. here in the US some people collect these sirens as most homes they live in are only are wired for single phase 120 and 240 volt 200 amp service. a three phase siren or tool thats three phase would need a phase switcher or a rotary phase converter in which it has to me matched with the horsepower rating of the motor. as the phase converter creates the third leg in a properly timed cycle for the siren or tool's motor to operate correctly. a 10 hp 3 phase motor would need a phase converter and motor starter rated 10 and above hp rating.
doesn't have the same 10 horsepower induction motor as the 3T22? they both have the same design. and how are you running it on single phase house current (240VAC)? those require a 3 phase 240-480VAC electrical supply don't they?
That's not the horn idiot. That's the air intake. Sound doesn't come out of the air intake;. It comes out of the chopper. Learn sirens before commenting.
I live in canton ms and it like that siren on march 25 there was tornado warning but siren old and rusty ef5 dint destory anything because of 2t22 blower chopper then it went away it survive all of us even flash flood went down
There are three wires here that look like they can carry some decent current, not 4, which three phase systems have. (Unless that’s what the two other white wires are)
