What Addison did was really selfish and messed up, but I still respect her. She handled the aftermath with a lot of class. She was there for Derek and didn’t fight when he decided to leave.

The sad thing in this episode at the end when Derek & Addison are taking about Christmas & it making you want to be with those you love. He tells her that he fell in love with Meredith & that doesn’t just go away. He basically told her his problem is he doesn’t love her he loves Meredith & it’s Christmas & he wants to be with Meredith yet somewhere in that she thinks that there is still hope. These kinds of real human flaws is a part of why this show has lasted so long and also bring back Addison.
It was really wrong of Derek to love Meredith but to stay with addison.its really heart breaking for the wife to learn her husband is in love with someone else.

Addison thinks that she and Derek are on the same page, this scene demonstrates how wrong she is since she thinks is all the same as it used to be - post affair with Mark.
i would have dropped him right there. choose yourself. if a man doesn't want you, move on. their marriage was over and she could have found another great man who truly valued her. she only cheated because derek didn't love her anymore. get a divorce and don't waste your time on an asshole
I find this highly unrealistic. How does a man stay with a woman who cheated with his best friend, when there is another woman that he fell in love with. I just don't think that would have happened in real life; especially when there is another woman right there who he is in love with. Just seems unrealistic and making Derek seem more selfless than humans naturally are...
Even Patrick said he still doesn’t understand why they made Derek stay with Addison when he’s not into her anymore and he’s in love with Meredith. It’s really unrealistic but I guess they just wanted the drama on the show
Addison needs to wear a big "A" @ the front of her chest so she can remind herself and others that she had an affair and that does not go away even if Derek decided to stay with her.

Honestly that was unfair of derick. YOU DECIDED to stay and he made her feel like she was forcing him to and basically told her that she has to deal with him flirting and wanting Meredith. Yeah I know she cheated but she tried to make it work and she definitely had remorse. Also if I remember this right didn’t he? He also emotionally cheated, hard to not even just emotionally but yeah.
