The writers of 2017 Dynasty needs a serious viewing of at least one season of the OG Dynasty to learn how true drama and the real Alexis should be written.
First, Alexis causes Krystles miscarriage and when she threatens to get caught, she blackmails the only witness of the act to a false statement. And to top it off, she has the nerve to "forgive" Krystle... :-) Alexis at her best!
That moment when Alexis says "Oh i'm not accusing you of anything! not yet..." her face as she delivers that line, the evil revealing itself right in front of Tony showing her true intentions while denying any wrongdoing, amazing acting, just AMAZING.
@Dusk Hollow Yes, it had that same sharp and intelligent, yet subtly vicious direction that GOT had in the political scenes of the first few seasons. Both eventually saw significant quality drop as seasons went on.
No, you're not. The moment she goes on about, "This misinformation from Tony must have triggered some psychological break", I crack up. It's like she's channeling Rocky Horror's, Dr. Frankenfurter. How they never had her say, "What charming underclothes you're wearing." to any of her paramours, the entire run of the series, baffles me. Lol.
"I'll never forget what you caused me. For as long as I live." This is one of the very few moments during the entire run of the show where Alexis was completely stumped by Krystle's reaction. You can clearly see her facade slipping and a combination of fear and regret forming on her face. That calm and collected warning shot really hit its target.

I would understand if your comment dated back to the 90s but it dates back 5 months . Maybe time to update your knowledge regarding aids , or you might be next to die from it .
I attended the Royal Academy for a year …I’m glad it’s paid off. Alexis had the best lines. From the moment she arrived in Denver I was rooting for her to make the dull Krystle and hypocrite Blake miserable and she did not disappoint. And happy 90th birthday to Joan Collins …still fabulous as ever 😎😎😎

Absolutely! Joan was born for that part. She was fantastic! The show was excellent and that is why i will NEVER watch the new dynasty. You cannot take a superb show with superb actors and remake it and expect the quality like the origonal to be there. The new Dynasty, is TRASH in my eyes. They had the NERVE to hire Nicollete Sheridan, from Desperate Housewives to play ALEXIS!! ALEXIS OF ALL PEOPLE! MO NO NO NO NO
@@perryIII I think the downfall of the new Dynasty is crappy writing. I think Nicolette Sheridan could have been a great Alexis ( modern day). The writing and storylines are crappola!!!!

Krystles voice is much deeper and normal hear. Why did she get more breathy and light as the seasons went on? It made her sound more wimpy and goody two shoes. Here she has a more strong voice
Love the drama of this scene. Linda and Joan were great. The Acidity of Joan and the feist Linda. Great. I am kind of shocked at the comments about Tony, ,Paul Keenan RIP. If those comments were made about a woman it would be major sexual harassment and considered political incorrect. Dynasty had a lot of aesthetically people/actors heck even Alexis dog was beautiful.
I was curious about the actor and looked him up. Sad to read that he died of AIDS in 1986 at the age of 31. 😕 On an unrelated (or maybe related) note he was a friend of Rock Hudson. Wonder if he was a "friend friend".
