Just watched over this episode :'( Even though it was so early in Grey's anatomy and short lived, this is one of the best relationships the show has ever produced :')
I dont get why the writers wrote that Izzie named her son Eli she would have for sure named him Denny and her daughter Alexis for Alex of course. They should never forget about Denny. He made Izzie better
@annalou9176 it means she let her emotions compromise her ability to be a doctor, not to mention that what she did was unethical, unprofessional and highly illegal. She would have been bared from practicing medicine ever again at best and brought up on criminal charges at worst. The court room wouldn't have cared that she was "in love".
Maybe the writers thought Denny wouldnt b a good idea for her sons name because it was her and Alexs kid, maybe that wouldve made Alex feel uncomfortable.. its not all about Izzy
I'm watching this scene DECADES after seeing it originally... And I've got tears flowing down my face. Again. One of the greatest episodes ever written, in television history.
I am on an episode where Izzie is still fired and grieving and I couldn't continue cuz of this, it's really sad, despite me wanting Izzie and Alex to be together
i never liked izzie and denny. izzie was so selfish for wanting denny to live and fake the results for him to get the heart when it’s clearly obvious that denny wanted to rest. she shouldn’t have developed feelings for her patient in the first place because it made everything so personal.
This is so true. I'm the exact same as Izzie and I want to work in Healthcare so bad but I know I would get way too personal and close. There needs to be a level of coldness to be in healthcare
Honestly never got the point of this stupid traumatizing story. Never watched a movie or show with that actor : Denny, after I watched these episodes of Grey’s
