Just bought a boat and found out it’s got a crack in the block. I am gonna try this on mine. Hope it works just like yours. Water was gushing out the first time I hooked it up to water. Guy who sold it to me briefly ran it to show me it runs. 😩 How deep did you end up drilling the holes to stop crack at ends?
