thekoolaidkush is your car 2.62 gear? My 18 came with 3.07 stock and it’s trash. As long as you have the 230mm axle it should fit bro

I think they intentionally detune the 5.7 cars to sell the 392 cars. Think about it,

@@rickgrimes4133 That is EXACTLY what Dodge did! Using the 392 intake and exhaust and cam the 5.7 is only about 40 - 50hp of the 392 cars hp output. Had Dodge added those parts to the 5.7 not nearly as many people would have bought 392 cars. Please do not mistake this as bashing on 392's as I am not.

Was it a straight swap? I heard we have the 220mm axles instead of the 230mm in the Road and Track. I would like to do this in my 17 Daytona. Also, do you know if it will void any warranty if something goes wrong?

@@RTLife You'll notice a nice improvement driving in the rain too. My car handled like garbage in the rain with the stock differential. It'd slip sometimes when leaving a stop sign and driving normally. Sometimes the tire doing all the work would be in a puddle since the roads are designed to make water flow to the outside for drainage. It'd spin at 10% to 20% throttle. This problem is now gone. I imagine it was worse in your car since it's making a lot more power.

I’m thinking about adding a limited Slip to my 2013 4X4 Ram 4 door 1500 3.55 rear end, I have 3K stall, full LT exhaust, bigger throttle body, & HemiFever tuning. I will be running 17’s with drag radials & I am wondering if I should go to 3.92’s also. Seems like with such a small wheel that 3.55’s will be plenty with the 3K stall. My daily wheels are 20’s. Y’alls thoughts, I already can’t launch the 20’s with all terrain tires and 3K stall and I have to feather to hook up, losing a lot on my 60ft.

R/T Life the factory programming in Sport mode used to leave like 10% of TC engaged and about that much torque management. This knowledge from around 2010 -15. Fastest times were always Turing off TC completely until it chimed, had to hold button down fo 10 secs or so. Then TC was completely off. Launch at 1250-1500 rpms roll a few feet and rapidly roll into throttle. It (TC) would reset and turn on when you restarted the car. I never tried this with my 19 Daytona and Perf Pages. I kind of used settings and with Sport Aggressively on. Even hitting passing gear you could feel right rear tire bias. Lol. Rainey? Be careful. That 19 was hands down the best driving most comfortable car I’ve ever had. Als, up coming Colo. Trip, thus 4x4 now.

I agree with you so much. There is clearly a before/after difference. This thing drives so much more aggressive now & the traction is there more on the accelerations.

Look into a hellcat throttle body (92mm) - that's what I have. Solid torque gains

I like the 3.09 gearing - the limited slip was really the upgrade. Nice having both wheels spinning.

No they keep putting open diffs in the R/T. They really need to do limited slip with 3.09 gearing- makes a nice difference.

For my RT it was a plug & play. I would contact Steve White motors to make sure it's the same for you. Nothing other then the 3.09 limit slip pumpkin was needed

I read on a Charger Forum that the 2015+ cars w/ open diff/220mm axles can use the LSD without any extra hardware. Not sure if thats true.

@@waydigga1982 Yes it's true .220mm or 230mm refers to the size of the ring gear not the size of the axles . I did the 3.09 on my 18 R/T. direct bolt in..

Direct swap - for me no tuning was required. True plug & play

I can't really give good advice on the cams, I only have experience with 2. But I can tell you both made a big difference. You have a lot of good upgrades in place already so a cam & manifold will net you some nice gains. Take a look at a hellcat throttle body - I love it! The 3.07 to 3.09 was a massive upgrade right?

You will notice a difference in both - so much better

I haven't thought about e85 yet - will likely stick with 93 for a while. Next up is saving for the supercharger
