At the time 3:57 Why are you getting the vector PA instead of AP? Shouldn't the direction vector and the vector PA face in a way such that they are moving away from each other?

When calculating angles between lines, we only need to calculate the angle between their direction vectors. This is because the angle between the direction vectors will be the same as the angle between the lines.
