You sure that Audi is running right? I know it has more drivetrain loss and more weight but the extra power along with dsg should be enough to pull away abit
If u started the rolling pulls higher rpm with the type r and didn't wait 3 4 seconds for vtec to crack it would have been way different race. And type rs love no lift shifts. If you love replacing clutches
Audi is 4WD quattro right? So has higher drivetrain loss and a FWD car? Would be one reason they're pretty equal when one has about 50bhp more, the K20's can dyno a few bhp higher too and rarely lose any power through the years.
Nothing wrong with the Audi like the golf R32 thats how they are, for the engine size there slow heavy and thirsty and not much room for tuning but some just love the sound of the 6 pot lump
@@CB-sh9zz yeh, civics much more raw and makes much more power than the audi from a 2.0 n/a in comparison. if you watch the latest video even danny said the same thing and he sees cars of different types everyday

I'd love to give the type R a try with my 2.0t A3. I think the 3.2L was geared longer then my 2.0t. My A3 seems to punch far above its weight class 200hp and I can keep up with STI's 😈
I had 1 of them A3s 2.0t quattro got it stage 1 remapped turns it into a totally different car absolutely spanked a A3 3.2 off the lights with it, it felt near stock S3 quick with just a simple stage 1
