Now that I've gotten to play around on the big patch they did, I'll have a video out explaining the discoveries and how things work now. While it didn't fix everything it definitely feels better to me.
Same. As someone who barely understands all the underlying systems of PoE I need an "everything you need to know" for the "everything you need to know" videos. I would also appreciate a league starter guide for league starter guides. These videos always start off fine then withing 20 seconds I have no idea wtf people are talking about.
@@stealthstyle1 Im a console pkayer too! lol, crazy to find another one of us Chads on here, Im on Xbox but I also Have PS5, xbox client runs better for this game
@@stealthstyle1I was also amazed to see that. was like 4am when I went to bed trying to figure out what time start was and kept seeing Console and disregarding it lol
Everything you need to know is that geniuses at GGG nerfed map farming to the ground: delirium, sextants, essences, scarabs they also gated omni and ashes behind ubers which btw was not even mentioned in patch notes.
I mainly play on standard got covid and recovered after 1 month and now all of my sextant and scarab are fcked how'd they managed to screw everything up lol.
I was about to start this league even I heard many people quit because league is complicated and bad for new/average players after watching this video I have no desire to start it 😂😂 thank you for saving me time
The league mechanic stuff is pretty meh, even after the updates they made to make the crafting portion easier, but the endgame changes are kinda cool. I still have no idea how T17's are supposed to be the stepping stone for Ubers though.
In the interviews Mark said it's unskippable but if it becomes enough of a problem for people, and most likely himself since he plays as well, that they'll do something to make to faster. I understand their purpose of trying to create suspense but I've only crafted 3 or 4 items and feel like it's a bit much.
you don't move the monsters, you move the modifiers. The first reason would be to make the zone harder by killing higher density/packsize monsters to encourage getting those Devoted Spirit Rewards in the next zone. (Again that is for campaign only), the other reason you'd do it is to make sure harder mobs don't get something that would make them more difficult, like Rhoas in the Mudflats, last thing you'd want to do is give them movement speed or increased damage.
I'm coming back to PoE, figured I could try the necro league with an arrow rain build, so far I'm up to an area I've never played through, the slave pits? Is there a good place I can get critical info I'm missing from multiple years of absence, but compactly? Thanks in advance!
All I can think of is using poewiki.net, but I'm not sure that'll have what you're looking for. That is something I didn't think of making, are you looking for like an Act/Quest Walkthrough?
also wanna make sure you know the new league starts next Friday, the 26th. Idk how much free time you currently have to play. Didn't want that to come up and surprise you and have you feel like you're stuck playing Standard.
I guess I'm stupid or something but do you just have to keep completing the undertaker dungeons to be able to bury more bodies? I can't figure that out. I think it was a boss I killed in 1 of them, then was able to bury it, soooo MAYBE that's what you do?! HMMMMMMMM
When you kill monsters sometimes one will have a button pop up that says "Collect" you click that, the Undertaker takes the body back to the Necropolis. When you're in the Necropolis and you click a grave you can bury that body but each body has a Crafting Modifier on it. So you want to bury bodies together that have crafting modifiers you want. Then you can click Craft and pick the piece of gear you want to craft. It consumes the bodies and spits out an item. If you have a body that didn't have a Crafting Modifier and instead has a name, then you have a Unique body and you have to collect the other bodies with the same last name and bury them together and it'll spit out a Unique Item. Apologies for the essay, they really didn't make the Unique Body thing very clear in game.
If you're asking about the Graveyard Crafting then you should do it as you're progressing through the campaign to fill in or upgrade missing gear pieces. The corpses are based on the zone level you got them in and will make an item of an average level and item level dictates how high certain mods can roll so the insane RU-vid crafting videos are using Corpses that are level 80 or higher.
The Poisonous Concoction Greenish one looks like the Huntsman Armour : www.pathofexile.com/shop/item/HuntsmanArmourPack?search=huntsman Unless you were asking on a different one?
I don't play on console, but after your bodies have been buried going near them should bring up a UI that shows what the craft is and what the body is. On PC there's a "Craft" button that you click to open up the menu that then asks what you're trying to craft. Select whether you want Armour, Weapons, Jewellery. Then the Base Item Stat Type, and then the Base Item. Then Exorcise. Hopefully any of that helps, I don't play on console. Last time I plugged a controller in the UI was just confusing so I really don't blame you for having issues.
they said they want to try something new and add league passives on the atlas. so presumably every every mechanic going forward will have those, but it doesn't mean it's instantly core.
I think it's something that helps them save time in the event that a league goes core they don't have to design Atlas Clusters but instead they can just balance them, but at the same time if it goes core and they keep the clusters, where would they put the next leagues?
There is alot of complexity but most of that comes from the game letting you have the ability to customize most everything. Because of that I find it hard to go to D4 and be locked into a class archetype.
Only early early essence farm was nerfed...once you start dropping essence scarabs, they're gonna be juicier than ever. Kinda fair that you are not able to do such currency strats in t1 maps
