Really appreciate the updates! S tier PoB too. The first few acts were a pain to get through (as you said in the guide) but after that it was smooth sailing! I am having a blast playing this build! Thank you so much for putting so much effort into it!
you can get 50% avoid shock on the protection mastery close to the tree as well as corrupted blood or maim/hinder with a stormshrowd and 1 more 50% shock avoid jewel(not sure prices on those). this would cost 4 points if we use the travel node to go to finnese instead of taking the 12% ele damage. possibly unpsec one with nature and the other ele damage if your crit capped. but the skill points and slightly less damage for ailment immunes (freeze chill shock sapped brittle scorched burning corrupted blood) edit i checked the price of stormshroud, i understand why not
Awesome build awesome video and awesome PoB! I personally don't like how squishy it is though. I have 160 deaths so far (after hitting maps) and that is more than I usually have on a char through a whole league :D So i've decided to not sink any more currency into it and waste even more time trying something else. Yes I understand some people find it "not squishy" but my personal experience and with the skillset my 4.5k hours of PoE has yielded, it is at least squishy for me and my playstyle. What was the "last drop" for me was being 1% from lvl 89 (not a lot at all I know but im at 206k monster kills I should be around 91-92 at least) and dying to a white rhoa in a casual t13 that came charging from off-screen after I started charging a verisium vein :P
Yeah I was very worried during the first half of the campaign. But kinda like he said in the previous video it’s expected. The build came online quick after that and it’s been very smooth since.
I died a lot, no fault of the build , I'm clearly not knowledgeable enough about the game, and as a newer player Im still struggling... Which is why I think maybe a guided playthrough showing your progression process would be very beneficial in the future, there were some differences to the pob and your choices, which leads to a lot of confusion for newer players like myself, of course newer players are expected,as you are gaining popularity. Great stuff, I am looking forward to mastering fb. Not an easy build for a beginner imo. I know this stuff is easy for a lot of people but when you are new to the game , small things could hold you back. POE is a complex game with a lot of moving parts
I regret not going melee fb. I wasnt sure what to expect early from the removal of the flat cold. Plus I have a plan which so far goes well. I had the idea to make an expedition+heist dedicated farmer, so I reworked my cold dot leaguestarter into a speedy variant as ascendant (im addicted). Melee fb would do a similar job in a heist, but my concern was that whirling blades could run me out of mana while travelling if I dont hit anything. So that threw me off as well. I will probably level a trickster later on, I always play dot with him, but melee goes ballistic rn so I have to try it (plus I was going to test the pure tank es melee variant I was coping, god bless ggg for keeping perandus pact %es variant in the game) 😂
Died 156 times and just hit act ten 😢. Unbelievable bad luck with gear and can not find socket colour or resistances..dang what a start but still goin 😂 and hopefully find some gear. No luck with colouring or gearing at all. But look forward to getting it going and thanks for the guide 👍
last league everything was fine. Now, 200+ deaths, really hard to get it to work. Now after finishing all acts did 600 lightning dmg, 450 cold and 350 fire so far. But if I take my old claws and aim just a pure cold damage, then mobs die x3 faster... Thanks for your work anyways, but for me not this time, only one with is to delete this character :D
I was in your place, but now im dying maybe once in 3-4 maps from some random shit and i spent maybe 200c from day 1. You need evasion on all gear, hp nodes (thick skin, herbalism, revange of the hunted), capped res, flasks from pob and one of them with evasion roll, capped spell suppresion (its easy actually all from tree + maybe 20% from items, freeze immunity from pantheon (this one is huge), shield, and the most imporant one -> offence is a defence in this build (do your labs, 6L and heatshiver is mandatory IMO), I don't have it yet, but i think pierce and +1 strike on gloves with eldrich implicits will make a huge offence and defence difference so try also that, also sorry for my eng :8
is Yoke no longer part of the build or are you just not adding it for the entry guide, and has anyone been able to confirm if defiled forces actually works with the warden shock?
Hey, one question. Blood Rage's killing me during clearing maps, even with high leach, if there's no mob in near area i'm 99% dead. Any solution? Ir im doing something wrong? Thanks!
put it on your weapon or shield, make sure your auras are NOT on those, and then weapon-swap it off when you arent fighting anything. And make sure Blood Rage is NOT linked to Automation.. ................

Trying out ur build... atm only 30lvl tho i dont mind... i dont like to rush anyways! Always played cyclone builds, tho few days ago saw ur video and was wondering if i would enjoy the gameplay - and atm its pretty good! Like u said previously - its not a league starter, at least ~1-30lvls are slow and u can die!
They gonna nerf into the ground lol Perma freezing bosses either a patch is coming or hotfix I just don't see them letting that slide and if they do let it slide it won't be the same next season.
Hi, this build is awesome. I have 9 million damage for 6 divine orbs, the whole map explodes, decent survivability if you don't use delirium orbs. What do you think is the most effective aspect of farming? I'm relatively new, this is my 1st league with the atlas tree. I took legion and breach, I like everything, but is there a potentially more effective area of application for this build or is it more a matter of preference?
Ya Shock node needs some Tech to fully ramp - you need a phys/cold claw too to really benefit from it. VLS helps stack it a lot. More on this later on as we try stuff out.
Are there any built in methods for physical damage mitigation or endurance charge generation? (enduring warcry kinda feels poopy) Mapping is pretty good and surpress/evasion/freezing deals with most things, but there's times where an accurate flicking mob just absolutely deletes me on repeat now.
The Ele dmg is strong - ailment effect is good, ailment duration is also good for shock-stacking. Tinctures are strong if you can use them efficiently/properly.
I think I'm misunderstanding how to progress this other than zerging non stop deaths. Still working on my early map gear t1/t2 but most rares I run into can just straight up one-shot me. Playing SSF though so need to manage it without buying things. Anyone have any advice for being a bit tankier out of the gate?
Go barkskin and armour/evasion bases - or just Determ instead of Hatred if you want to be really more defensive. But I recommend you pump damage and freeze everything with Avatar - I use Avatar on like every Essence and League Ore node and Map Boss.
Hey, I got an issue when I swapped to Cold to Fire supp gem after getting Oath of Summer, I can't get trinity to proc anymore because of the fire element. I got # to # fire damage on both my rings, I just got a low phy damage, but that can't be the issue, right ? I can't figure out why I can't proc Trinity, any advice on that please ? If I swap out Cold to Fire support, it's working again, so what should I do EDIT : I tried multiple things - swapping in Anger does not work, having Wrath or Hatred does not work either EDIT2 : I manage to proc it sometimes, but it looks like it's against fire/ignite resistant mobs, does that mean I'm dealing too much fire damage and not enough cold/lightning ? should I get lightning damage to attacks ? cause if I get cold damage, it won't solve anything ?
For proccing Trinity, when you hit with the highest elemental damage the other two get resonance. So you either have too much of one damage type or not enough of another. You only need two types that alternate to get all three to resonate. So focus on cold/fire (make sure they are close enough for them to alternate as highest damage)and just get a little bit lightning to proc shocks for the ascendancy node.
The top number damage of each element has to be higher than the lowest of the other elements. I.E 450 to 500 fire 480 to 650 cold 120 to 800 light This will proc trinity. If the top end is lower than the minimum then it wont proc it
6L, heatshiver and labs. If you can't craft or buy some semi-decent claw, you might want to pick up a white wind for 1c then drop claw nodes (magpie, hawk, life reaker) and pick up dagger ones (flaying and backstabbing). I had no problem in yellows/low reds with this setup
Did you swap out added cold dmg and added lightning damage and put multistrike + cold to fire support instead ? That's what you should do, so you can scorch mobs easily
I don't know wtf I did wrong but this hasn't been my experience at all. White maps have been kicking my ass and I can't figure out why. Btw you definitely didn't find that claw in Act 8. It's ilvl 73.
@@iyekane95And who else plays it? Its zerksees and phrahx or whatever. 3 people total. Last one does min maxing, zish does hella good guides and the other plays it casually ig. So technically 2 people, where zish is the most invested into it and put fb on the map.
@GE_Photon_Lord ummm literally tons of people who DONT stream lol....I've played it many times. I played it last league. I've been playing RF before POHX. Just because he makes content does make him a god... I don't care if you like him but there were many other individuals last league with more min max frost blade builds that him. Go poeninja it
I haven’t played melee in forever… with multi strike gem, can you hold the attack button or do you need to press and let the multiple attacks go through then press again?
FB or LS are usually my go-to "high investment" build most leagues.. but Ive never "started" it. After this experience, I can confidently say Ill never "start" it again.
@GE_Photon_Lord I mean technically you can league start anything, but that doesn't make your build a "good" league starter. I've started TR 13 of the last 14 leagues.. I typically clear campaign in ~4.5hr with an act 1 bow and the only thing I need to look at gear for is sockets.. go straight to heist after campaign for ~2hrs, which nets me enough currency to finish my first 2 void stones.. THAT is what a "good" league starter is lol.. Also, I usually have a mageblood before I start my second build.. so no, I would consider 100div "Almost ready to start investing in a build."
Great video but this build is pure bait before 200 divines put into it. It pops and clears as amazing as physical damage clears it. Onetaps from everything which is related to phys - 200 deaths just in acts. Dont play this as league start if you are planning to. Play something safe and deffensive like archmage or minions and build currency for this build
