I am grateful to teachers like you sir, you made all of the 3 level 3 physics exam papers feel incredibly easy yesterday. Thanks for teachers like you.
The video is amazing, really helpful with my journey towards scholar physics! At 20:25, it says |7 x λ - 4.5 x λ| = 3.5λ which is actually 2.5λ. No hate, I love your videos, been watching all of them, thanks so much!
Thanks for the kind words! Best of luck on your way to Scholarship Physics, make sure to drop a comment if you have any questions. Good spotting, it's been fixed on the PDF but I've yet to finish the update for this video walkthrough (many more demonstrations in the works!).
Hello Mr Whibley For the explanation questions is it fine if I use symbols like f or lamda, eg. f increases and lamda decreases? Would I get marked down from this or would they accept this?
Hey, I’ve been using your techniques when going over past exam papers and they have been working out for me. Do you happen to have any scholarship physics notes of any sort? As I know it helps a lot with level 3 stuff.
Hi Daniel, that's awesome. Scholarship Physics is intended to be Level 3 content, assessed in a more complex way. As such the Level 3 notes should mostly be enough. I'd recommend tackling some of the past examination papers.
I have a few more questions. Even though my school doesn’t do modern physics, would it be helpful learning it if you want to teach in that area? Is it handy to know for Scholarship Physics (I want to teach chemistry and physics mainly, I’m learning biology just in case I have to teach it) Also, when are you planning to go over the Level 3 2022 physics papers?
Great questions. Depending on what tertiary pathway you choose you are likely 4+ years away from needing to teach Modern Physics. If you're planning on completing a Physics degree you will cover this content anyway. It is however necessary for Scholarship Physics (for example see Q1 of 2021's paper www.nzqa.govt.nz/assets/scholarship/2021/93103-exm-2021.pdf). I'm aiming to have all the 2022 exam walkthroughs out before mid Term 3.
