Thanks for that series Lee. I have a TechOne Popwing 900mm that was so twitchy is was almost impossible to fly. You gave me some good pointers I'll try for sure.

Great video Lee!. I'm a complete beginner and built myself a big flying wing. Maybe I should have started small.... but at the time building a big one seemed like a good idea!. I was wondering, do you recommend practicing with a simulator before going out in the field? If yes, what one do you recommend?

I'm building a Tec Sumo and have applied your recommended 13 degrees of "reflex". Using the recommended throws, this only gives a few degrees of negative elevator and I assume that this means the model can't fly inverted or pull an outside loop? This is my first wing, is there something I'm missing and, if not, how do you overcome this? Differential elevator throws? It seems to me this must be a conundrum with all wings?

Normally, control horns are centred on the hinge-line, why is it different on this wing?

Will it fly with 800mah batteries?

Have you used Volantex Xpilot Stabilization...???

How's that tape called? I tried listening to it 3 times and can't figure it out ;)

Thanks for your video. A friend and me started flying with that wing after seeing your video and after having a gyro stabilized Volantex 761-1. The wing is awesome. We started also with a "painless" version - but meanwhile arrived at a version that can give you headaches. It is a sub 250gr, 6s , 157kmh version ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JS60YkNUR7A.html ). So we can recommend the wing for growing up from a beginner to advanced beginner level:-)
