I’m sooo proud of our national weather service today. This event was sooo hard to get the right warnings out. Every tornado would spin up and recycle within a very short period especially south of Iowa. I was watching live when this tornado hit in Sherman and they did not have much time to react. It just shows how far our weather service has come, even in just the last 10 years. I’m so glad these people are ok. Houses can be rebuilt. Lives can’t.
Prayers sent to everyone involved here. My company has done a lot of work in these homes and gained a great work relationship with our customer's. Hoping everyone made it out without injuries. 🙏
This is just completely awful. I hope these devastating tornadoes stay as far away from North Carolina where I live as possible. My heart, thoughts and prayers goes out to these people.
Why do interviewers keep asking traumatized people to spell their names out, even an obvious first name = QUIT IT !!!! It is so demoralizing when they are somewhat reluctant to speak anyway while under trauma & you are acting like a police officer demanding for them to identify themselves. I know that some friend or relative may see the video later & want to know it was truly someone they know but, let them spell it out if they want to.
Tornado Alley. Known disaster region of the Country, yet..people continue to live and build in the heart of it, which happens over, and over, and over, and over again.
Money that's why. In New England cellars where always part of building a house. Now many are built on slabs. So we will start to see more wiped off the landscape when storms hit.
Well global warming gas an effect on it , not God nor Jesus. I believe Global Warming exists and I believe that our gov't can manipulate the weather. Look up cloud seeding. God don't disappoint me, people do.

Yeah, because us Americans are in agreement with what are corrupt, out of control government is doing around the world and at home...if you've been paying any attention at all, they don't care about our livelyhood or what we say or want. They take better care of other countries than they do the people in the US.
