Great flying man. I started flying just under a month ago with a super cub plane, then got a 350 qx quad a week or two later and a nano cpx and Trex 450 last week. Helis are by far the most fun and challenging. Have only hovered the 450 a bit but cant wait to get back out there with it. I feel like I have been progressing quickly, if I can fly like this in a month I would be amazed.
Thanks for the comment! I went the opposite route. Started with a Nano CPX, then went to my two 450s, then a Nano QX, and now I have four planes too. I like it all. The planes are SO much more relaxing to fly. The helis are nerve racking to fly since they're so delicate!
They really are! Definitely a time and place for both. Sometimes I like to just go relax and cruise the skies, others I love the adrenaline of the helis. I have been flying the 450 today in the yard and it is amazing how much easier it is to fly than the nano cpx! I knew it would be, but had no idea how smooth it would be. I am flying with Aileron and Elevator at 100% with 15% expo and it is really smooth. 100% and no expo in idle up, haven't flown it like that yet because my yard isn't huge but plan on trying some flips this weekend if I can get some tale shake figured out.
