Hey Reese you wouldn’t happen to have 1” drop coils lingering around my truck currently has a 2/5 drop but would want to go one more inch up front. I have 2” drop spindles but I’d definitely need to replace the stock coils with 1” coils for that 3”
Hey reese I'm tryin a find best kit were I dont have to notch my bed what lowering kit u go with should I do lower control arms in frontn shackles in rear
Jose duran for a 3/5 you don’t need to notch it. It most likely won’t hit on bumps unless it’s really bad or a steep hill meeting with road like a steep driveway.
Hey Reese, I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado crew cab anyhow I just lowered my truck more than how I got it from the previous owner.. He had a 2/4 drop 2” spindles in the front and a 4” hanger however the full kit was a 4/6 MaxTrac suspension the previous owner had Gabriel Skyjacker Air-shocks in the rear.. I just recently placed 2” lowering springs over the stock strut and replaced the stock hanger to get the 6” in the rear however the alignment shop I went to mentioned the stock struts maybe stressing under those 2” lowering springs. So on cyber Monday I purchased a full Belltech adjustable struts for the fron and Nitro Drop Shocks for the rear. My truck is not c-notched and I don’t plan on doing it.. I’ve been told and done some research reform Ivan owner to IHC Suspension or Inez Suspension how you may know him.. In a previous video he mentioned on our kind of truck models we don’t need to c-notch the rear with a 4/6 drop he did say something that had to be done was remove the bump stop with a saw-saw, grinder or plasma cutter.. Did you have issues with your bump stops tapping out on the rear axle of your previous GMC Sierra should I raise my truck to a 3/5 or remove the bump stop bracket for better clearance and stay with the 4/6..???
