Very well explained!! I appreciate the technology you possess and the kind of social media presence you exercise. ABAGY systems will go a long way cheers! How many years did it take to advance up to this level of welding technology?

It’s been a fascinating journey for us at ABAGY, refining and advancing our welding technology over the years. To answer your question, it has taken several years of dedicated research, development, and close collaboration with industry experts to reach this level of innovation.

@@ABAGY the technology is a wonderful fruit for your hard work. Do you have any presence across Asia-Pacific? Or India?
@ABAGY
@ABAGY Месяц назад
At the moment, we don't have a direct presence across the Asia-Pacific or India regions. However, we are always open to exploring new opportunities and partnerships in different markets. Are you based in that region? What kind of projects are you working on? It would be great to hear more about your needs and see how we might be able to collaborate or assist remotely.

Well made. how can we handle "Dark spots" in the machine vision method?
@ABAGY
@ABAGY Год назад
If we understand right what you meant by “Dark spots”, they can occur when the objects block the view of the scanner. We use a two-step approach. First, we detect the position of the whole part during primary scanning, where these “dark spots” are not of utmost importance. Then, for each specific weld, we utilize touch-sensing or laser scanning to adapt to the real geometry of the part.

Hi, interesting content and production! I have a question. Is there any application where it was possible for example on a multipass butt joint (thick plates) to adapt for the deformation in the subsequent passes?
@ABAGY
@ABAGY Год назад
Hi, thank you for your interest in our content and technologies! Yes, there are various applications where it’s possible to adapt to deformation in subsequent passes, during multipass welding. Depending on the machine vision devices used, different levels of adaptability can be applied. For example, it’s possible to use a re-touch-sensing procedure or employ wire sensing for each new pass. Alternatively, laser scanning can be used to reconstruct the geometry in real time during the welding process.

Yes, you would program 3 passes with the teach pendant as the deformation should be the same after each pass
@ABAGY
@ABAGY 2 месяца назад
Thank you for your question and insight! With Abagy, you wouldn't need to pre-program each pass using a teach pendant. Our system can dynamically adapt to each pass's deformation in real-time. Whether using laser scanning, wire sensing, or arc sense, the system adjusts the trajectory and welding parameters automatically. This eliminates the need for pre-programming and allows for more flexibility and accuracy in handling variations. Let us know if you'd like more details or have any other questions!
