I use white vinegar to clean my hair...I have for 3 years and it transformed my hair completely for the better...ACV is too drying for my hair but white vinegar cleans my scalp and strands gently while leaving it feeling moisturized...I use aloe vera juice for conditioning...I have starter locs and have been using a moisture mixture of aloe juice, cactus water and rose water.

I think losing locs is very common. I know for myself because i self maintain that i have lost some due to me redistributing the hairs into other locs when tired or because i dont do my hair in the mirror just by touch.
