Designed to be rugged, the wire is straightened by a straightening die made of alloy material and then driven by a series of feed wheels through a dual rotator assembly and cut to length in a high speed flying shear. The shear is designed to make flush, square end cuts at maximum operating speed. Gears between the feed drive and the rotator drive ensure that a constant straightening angle is maintained under all conditions, providing the best straightness of the finished wire.
